TW Racing Trent Wells Racing is located on course at Spreyton, We offer Horse Training and Pre-Training. Trent is hands on and rides most of his own track work.

Trent was a successful Jumps Jockey until moving onto Training in a partnership for the last 10 years.

Just the 2 runners tonight at Launny.

R3 N2 : Leo DaVinci 💛💙

Hes having a solid prep currently and gets out to a distance which should suit him ideally. Drawn to have a nice run and should be right in the finish.

R6 N8 : Platium Reggae ❤️💛

This is her 7th run for the prep but she’s thriving in work and in absolutely glowing. Drawn tricky in a small but quality field, so she’ll need a peach of a ride from dashing Di.

We have 3 runners tonight at Launny.

R2 N4 : Leo Davinci 💛💙

We decided to scratch from a bad barrier on Friday night and we got a worse one tonight🙈
So he will need a fair share of luck to get a nice enough run but I’m really happy with him and reckon it’s the best he’s ever looked so hoping he can hit the line hard.

R3 N3 : It’s Jagger Time ❤️💛

The big guy got the job done with ease last start and has come through the run in flying colours! obviously the quick turnaround is a unknown but I wouldn’t be running him if he showed me one sign he shouldn’t be racing. Can’t wait !!

R5 N4: Star Walkin ❤️🤍💙

The mighty grey failed over 1400m last start but a few things went wrong. Back to 1200m ✅ Kelv back on and knows the horse well and with a bit of rain about yesterday hoping the track has a little bit of give in it should suit him perfect.

We have 3 runners Newmarket night at Launny.

R2 N6 : Ziggy Plays Guitar 💚🤍❤️💛

He steps out to the 1400m again after some encouraging runs over the shorter trips working home late.

R3 N3 : It’s Jagger Time ❤️💛

He’s having a great prep and gets in with a comfortable weight and good barrier. Really happy with him and a nice gap between runs has served him well.

R7 N10: Platinum Reggae 💛❤️

She’s come through her last start win in great order. Meets some good horses again today but they are carrying their share of weight and we get in light again and good barrier. Hopefully it’s a case of rinse and repeat.

We have 3 runners tonight at Launceston:

R1 N3 : Ziggy Plays Guitar 💚💛❤️🤍

He’s having his 3rd run in the state tonight and gets a few things in his favour so I’d expect him to be somewhere around the mark.

R2 N12 : Platium Reggae ❤️💛

I’m really happy with her and also gets a few things in her favour BUT it’s a red hot class 1 so she’ll need to produce one of her best to be in the finish.

R5 N9 : Star Walkin ❤️🤍💙

He’s having a great start to his prep with a win and a narrow 2nd. We can’t fault anything with him and I’m sure he’ll enjoy the step up to 1400m. It’s a very tough race but will give us a very good guide to where he matches up.

Race 1 the jockeys will be paying tribute to Justin Pinner who suddenly past away on Tuesday morning and all our thoughts are with Felicity and Mia and the rest of his family during this terrible time 😔

We are off to Launny again tonight with 3 runners:

R1 N8: Gladding ❤️💛

He went great first up and did a few things wrong so we’ve made a couple of changes and hope it does the job and gets him over the line first.

R2 N3 : Leo Davinci 💛💙

Leo steps up to the 1400m 2nd up which is a bit of an ask but he pulled up great and i thinks its his ideal distance. Dashing Di goes on board and knows Leo well.

R7 N2: Only Old Once ❤️💛

She’s come through her last win in great order. This race is a tougher assignment but im sure shes up to the challenge and she loves a fight.

He’s a new comer to the stable that Richie recommended to stay here after his last run. He’s a handful but looking forward to see how Kelv can handle him and the drop back in distance should have him attacking the line late.

R4 N8 : Platium Reggae 💛❤️

After a good 3rd last start she goes around tonight with 52kg and is fit and well also has the inform Apprentice Jabez on board. Crappy barrier again but hoping for some luck to slot in off a hot speed race and hit them late.

We head to the races at Launceston tonight with 3 runners.

R2 N3: Leo Davinci 💛💙

He kicks off his prep tonight over 1200m after 2 cruisy trials. He will be sitting off the speed and looking to hit the line late and hard.

R3 N1 : Its Jagger Time ❤️💛

After a very good first up run after a lengthy spell he looks ready for the rise in trip to the 1400m. He’s drawn well in an even race. Id love there to be some juice in track but i have my concerns with all this wind around. I couldn’t be happier with him and the way hes came through his first up run.

R7 N7 : Only Old Once ❤️💛

She’s been a very consistent mare this prep and i dont see why that wont continue. A race void of speed will make it hard for her but she is bouncing out of her skin and has a few things in her favour being low weight , distance and a 4th up winner.

TWR took three horses to Mowbray yesterday, achieving a win, third, and fourth place. Platinum Reggae ran a great race, finishing third behind stable mate Star Walkin. Our three-year-old Gladding made his debut, running a respectable fourth place. Star Walkin excelled with a strong victory in his first outing this prep. We are looking foward to Friday night's racing this week. 🐎🙌

Our first season out on our own is done and dusted. The facts look good 9 winners (16%WSR) 24 places (43%PSR) from 55 runners. What some mightn’t see is the fun we’ve had with a growing group of owners and how excited we all are for the next season. With out a doubt our highlight was Devonport Cup day when we had 3 for 3 😉 and our first treble. Thanks to all our owners for the continued support and also our helpers whether it be our bed maker for our ponies Emma or Raceday / Trackwork jockeys, Andrea or our farriers. Leah 🥰 and Dad who keep the team ticking along a treat with their whacky ways 😊.
