We are excited to have Bit Right - Equine Bit Fitting coming to our property September the 16th and 17th. Please msg their buisness page directly for bookings. Arena and/or round yard avaliable for your fitting.

I'm heading up the highway to sunny Shepparton again in September. I'll be based from in Caniambo again with a great arena to work in and adequate parking etc.
I'm able to travel within a reasonable distance for multiple horses if required but precedence is given to clients who are able to travel.

A fitting takes around an hour and is conducted one on one. For best result the horse is ridden but I'm also able to do standing fits and fittings for horses heading off to be started or currently not under saddle. A full written report is forwarded after your booking for your records. I do the hard work for you and find your chosen bit in stock from a reliable retailer!

🐴 Starting horses under saddle - Douglas (stb/clydie/qh cross) rising 4yr old gelding.

Douglas has come for starting under saddle, his training will be split over two stays. His first stay has focused on his confidence traverling forward both on ground and with a rider. Introducing ridden gear as he progressed also.

Delilah is with us for a 2week stay - a focus on establishing some groundwork skills as well as the basics (tie up, clipping, washing ect)

🐴 Further education under saddle - George, registered QH name Iron Perfection (Out of The Perfectionist by Iron Elegance.)

George previously would become resistive to hacking out, displayed throw tossing his head and kicking out a back leg when the rider asked for forward. Building his confidence in the arena as well as adding desentization exercises has seen him excell out of the arena.

🐴 Further education under saddle - George, registered QH name Iron Perfection (Out of The Perfectionist by Iron Elegance.)

George is with us to address some areas in his training that require a consistent approach. One particularly being accepting a more stable feel in the contact. This has been achieved on the ground and under saddle and the flow on into other areas of his training include concentration and relaxation.

Georges owner plans to use him as an all round horse well working towards Ranch/Western classes. Having a consistent shape will be required for these disciplines.

Training for Willow continues to progress with a focus on remaining relaxed and engaged throughout each session, using desentization and obstacles helps to acheive this. As Willow is an older mare starting a ridden career ensuring she is engaged will help her remain willing and interested in ridden education.

To assist with Zeinah finding a relaxed abd willing forward introducing of farm rides and hacking out has been added to her sessions. This allows for the forward button to be interesting amd engaging.

🐎 Further education of horses undersaddle. Checkers, 11yr old QH x Clydesdale.

Checkers arrived for a two week stay to address some behaviours he had started to display - mainly undersaddle. After sessions on the ground and under saddle in the arena it was established that there were some training gaps with following the nose exercises, leadership and forward aid.

Checkers confidence has grown and his approach to his work becoming more willing/engaged.
