Your dog doesn’t need less stimulation… they need better outlets 🐾

It’s easy to assume a dog is “too much” when they’re struggling to settle or getting reactive.

But often, the issue isn’t too much stimulation —
it’s the wrong type, at the wrong time, without guidance.

Dogs are designed to move, explore, and engage with the world.

When those needs aren’t met, behaviour starts to show up in other ways.

Restricting everything might make a dog appear calmer in the moment…
but it doesn’t build real-life skills.

Dogs are constantly reading the people in front of them — how clear they are, how consistent they are, and whether they follow through.

They adapt quickly.

That’s why the same dog can look calm with one person and pushy with another.

It also highlights something important:

Training isn’t just about what you teach —
it’s about how it’s applied.

Not every dog responds the same way to the same approach,
and skills don’t automatically transfer between people without consistency.

But they’re not low-maintenance.

You’re getting a mix of two intelligent, active breeds —
which means they need more than just love and a daily walk.

They need:

• Mental stimulation
• Consistent training
• Clear guidance
• Outlets for their energy

Without that, that “cute personality” can quickly turn into:

• Jumping
• Barking
