🐣💛 Four little balls of fluff! 💛🐣

Check out these beautiful baby cockatiels that we’re currently hand-raising. At this age, they might not look much like the gorgeous cockatiels they’ll eventually become, but seriously… how adorable are they?! 🥹

These four little yellow fluff balls are growing beautifully, and we absolutely love watching their personalities and feathers develop day by day.

We can’t wait to watch their colours come through and see these tiny babies transform into four stunning cockatiels. 🪶💛

For now, though, we’re quite happy enjoying this ridiculously cute, fluffy stage! 😍

😂 A little story for a laugh…

For those who don’t know, I used to be absolutely terrified of birds. In fact… anything with wings! 🫣

To this day, my biggest fear is still a flying cockroach. Even my neighbours know when one gets into the house because they hear what sounds like a woman screaming… 😂 Nope, that’s just me!

Seeing this video reminded me of when I was in Year 6 or 7. I went over to a friend’s house, and he had a pet budgie that flew freely around the home. I was so scared that I made him lock the poor budgie in its cage before I’d even step inside the house!

Fast forward to today… now I’m literally surrounded by birds every single day. Funny how life works, isn’t it? ❤️

I thought I’d share this because it still makes me laugh. And for the record… the reaction in this video is actually much calmer than mine would have been back then! 😂

LOST COCKATIEL – PLEASE HELP FIND SALEM

Salem, a beautiful little cockatiel, has gone missing near Dapto Train Station.

Her wings are not clipped, so she may have flown some distance, but she is extremely friendly and may approach people.

If you spot Salem or are able to safely secure her, please contact us here at Atlantis Pets and we’ll help reunite her with her very distressed owner as quickly as possible.

Every share could help bring Salem safely home.

What an incredible night! 🏆✨

Here are just a few more photos from what will always be one of the most memorable nights for Atlantis Pets.

Winning the Illawarra & South Coast Local Business Award for Outstanding Pet Care is something I genuinely never expected. It was an evening full of excitement, laughter, great people and a moment I’ll never forget.

I also want to take a moment to give a very special thank you to our amazing manager, Janice.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m far more comfortable talking about birds, animals and helping customers than I am standing in front of a room full of people with a microphone! Public speaking has never been my strength.

Janice wasn’t overly keen on doing the speech either, but she knew how I was feeling, stepped outside of her own comfort zone and represented Atlantis Pets so incredibly well. That meant a lot to me.

Janice, thank you for having my back. Your support, loyalty and willingness to step up when it mattered most is something I’ll never forget.

This award belongs to every single member of our team, our incredible customers who continue to support a local family business, our volunteers, and everyone who has believed in what we’re building. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

From the bottom of my heart… thank you. ❤️
