🎃👻 HALLOWEEN HAS OFFICIALLY ARRIVED AT ATLANTIS PETS! 👻🎃

All the props are UP, the lights are on, and we are officially ready to welcome Halloween! 💀🕷️🪦

We’ve gone a little crazy this year with animated Halloween props, some standing over 8 feet tall — so come down, have a look and grab some awesome photos! 📸🎃

⚠️ A quick reminder for everyone visiting:
Please DO NOT TOUCH any of the Halloween props or displays. Many of them are animated, electronic and quite expensive.

👨‍👩‍👧 Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Some of our props move, make noise and jump out unexpectedly, so please keep this in mind if you’re bringing younger children. 👻😂

Other than that… come down, enjoy yourselves, take plenty of photos and experience Halloween at Atlantis Pets! 🎃🦜

We can’t wait to see everyone! 👻💀🎃

🎃👻 WE’RE STILL SETTING UP… AND IT’S LOOKING AMAZING! 👻🎃

It’s been a VERY busy day at Atlantis Pets getting everything ready and we’re still going! 😂

So… who’s coming to visit us tomorrow and Sunday for our Halloween weekend?! 🕷️💀🎃

⚠️ A quick heads-up for parents: We do have some large animated Halloween props that move, make noise and jump out at you, so if you’re bringing younger children or kids who frighten easily, please keep this in mind. Some of them might be a little scary! 👀😂

There will be plenty to see, and you’re more than welcome to take photos with the displays we just ask that all props are look-but-don’t-touch, as some are large, animated and a little too enthusiastic! 😂

We’ve put a LOT of work into this one and can’t wait for everyone to see it.

🎃👻 HALLOWEEN WEEKEND IS COMING TO ATLANTIS PETS! 👻🎃

Okay… we may have gone a little overboard this year. 😂💀

This Saturday & Sunday, Atlantis Pets is transforming for a massive HALLOWEEN WEEKEND during our normal trading hours!

And when we say Halloween decorations… we’re not talking about a couple of plastic pumpkins. 😂

⚰️ Coffins
💀 Giant animated characters
👻 Moving Halloween props
🎃 Decorations everywhere
😈 And some of our displays are OVER 8 FEET TALL!

Illawarra Bird Sanctuary & Rescue volunteers has already started building everything, and at this point we’re not entirely sure whether we’re still a pet shop or becoming a haunted house. 😂

📸 COME DOWN & GET SOME PHOTOS!

Everyone is welcome to come in, have a look and take photos with the displays bring the kids, bring the family and enjoy a bit of Halloween fun at Atlantis Pets!

There will also be a donation tin available throughout the weekend, with 100% of donations going directly to the licensed not-for-profit Illawarra Bird Sanctuary & Rescue, helping support the animals currently in our care. ❤️🦜

Entry is completely FREE donations to the sanctuary are entirely optional and greatly appreciated.

⚠️ PLEASE REMEMBER: Our animated props and displays are for photos and viewing only. Some are large, moving and delicate, so please do not touch, climb on or allow children to handle the displays.

People always ask me, “Are they a noisy bird?” 🦜😂

Honestly… I’m probably the WORST person to ask.

This is what I listen to on a daily basis. Here are Seven baby cockatiels, freshly fed, bellies full… and apparently still lodging formal complaints at maximum volume. 😂📢

After years of birds, babies and parrots screaming for absolutely no reason, I think I’ve genuinely become immune to noise.

So when I tell you, “Nah, they’re not that loud”…

maybe get a second opinion. 😂😂

🔊 SOUND ON for the full experience.

Currently handraising these gorgeous siblings. They have a few bald patches as Mum decided they didn't need those feathers. The last 2 pictures are their grown up siblings from an earlier clutch. These babies are almost 4 weeks old and will be looking for new homes in 4 weeks.

Well… we’ve adapted.

As you all know, from 1 October 2026, retail shops can no longer charge a card surcharge.

So, naturally, we’ve removed the surcharge from our EFTPOS machines at Atlantis Pets. ✅

Good news: No more card surcharge! 🎉
Bad news: It’s now 50c to open the box and get to the machine. 😂😂

Cash is still free… for now. 👀🤣

Atlantis Pets,
always finding innovative solutions to modern problems. 🦜😂
