Exciting News – Adoption Day is Coming! 🐦

The Illawarra Bird Sanctuary & Rescue is thrilled to announce that another Adoption Day is just around the corner! ❤️

If you’ve been thinking about giving a rescued bird or small animal a loving forever home, this is the perfect opportunity to meet some of the beautiful animals currently in our care and learn more about the adoption process.

📅 The official date and time will be announced very soon, so keep a close eye on this page and make sure you’re following us so you don’t miss out.

Every adoption creates space for us to rescue another animal in need, giving them a second chance at the life they deserve.

It has come to our attention that one of our customers (or possibly a secret admirer 😳) has been circulating the attached invitation.

After a thorough investigation, we can confirm that this event is NOT happening.

Please do not arrive at Atlantis Pets dressed in leather, masks, chains, or asking where the secret location is.

Management would also like to clarify that no invitations have been issued, no RSVP list exists, and Stan will not be greeting guests at the door.

We apologise for any disappointment caused.

🚧 Exciting Changes Coming to Atlantis Pets! 🚧

Hey guys,

We’re currently in the planning stages of connecting both of our warehouses internally, allowing you to simply walk through one larger Atlantis Pets warehouse rather than moving between separate areas.

As part of these improvements, we’re looking at opening a large internal doorway between the buildings, expanding our service counter across both sides so we can assist customers more efficiently, and replacing the front roller shutters with automatic glass sliding doors.

These upgrades will help make the store more accessible for customers using wheelchairs, mobility aids, or anyone who finds large roller doors difficult to navigate. The automatic doors will also help us maintain a more comfortable environment for both our customers and our animals by keeping the store cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

We’ll keep everyone updated as plans progress and work begins. Rest assured, we’ll do our absolute best to minimise any interruptions to normal trading while improvements are underway.

We’re very excited about the future of Atlantis Pets and can’t wait to share the next stage of our journey with you all! 🦜🐍🐠🐾

🥰 Current situation: three tiny feathered dinosaurs, three very loud appetites, and three little personalities growing bigger every day.

These beautiful baby macaws are currently being hand-raised and are quickly becoming the stars of our day. From messy feeds to cuddles and curious little beaks exploring everything around them, it’s incredible watching them grow and gain confidence.

As many of you know, we’ve entered a new phase at Atlantis Pets and are rapidly expanding our aquarium and reptile departments. Over the coming weeks and months you’ll notice a massive increase in the range we carry, with new products arriving almost every week.

From reptile accessories, hides, heat mats, thermometers, substrates, water bowls and handling equipment, through to aquarium foods, breeder boxes, decorations, backgrounds, driftwood, water treatments and much more — the shelves are filling up fast!

We’ve got a fresh range in store now, with plenty more on the way.

We’re also excited to now stock ZenDog Calming Shirts — designed to help dogs who struggle with anxiety, nervousness, storms, travel, grooming, vet visits or stressful situations.
