Guess Duke’s breed mix! 👀🐾

Duke has been one of our long-term clients and is an absolute favourite. ❤️

If you’ve ever met him in person, you’d probably guess his breed mix straight away. He’s got the most beautiful, soft nature and is an absolute pleasure to spend time with.

So… what’s your guess? 🤔👇

🩵 Pyjama day for these three… while Auntie Chelsea is doing the complete opposite! 😂🐾

I’m flat sticks this week before I head away on Friday!

🐶 No bookings left this week and there’s little to no flexibility to change existing walk times.

📌 Just a reminder that my cancellation policy is in force, so late cancellations will incur the applicable fee.
Day of - Full service payment
Less than 24hrs - 50% service minus travel fee.

Golden hour + many happy faces = the best way to end the day. ☀️🐾

Watching these guys just be dogs never gets old.
Chasing balls, rolling in the grass, soaking up the afternoon sun and reminding us that the simple things really are the best.

This is exactly why we do what we do 💛

Djidi; “ Wait… WHAT?! Auntie Chelsea is taking a break?!” 😱🐾

Just a little reminder that 31st July – 9th August inclusive, there will be no regular dog walks or pet sits, unless organised otherwise. ✈️🌴

Already booked clients - no need to stress! We’ve got plans in place to make sure your pets are still looked after with the same love and care while I’m away. 🤍

For my regular walking clients, if you need a casual walker to fill in during this time, please feel free to reach out and I’m more than happy to send through some recommendations! 🐕‍🦺

Every morning starts the same… Maple making sure Dad can’t leave without first paying the cuddle tax. 🤍🐾

Another week, another two foster pups. 🤍

Thankfully Max was only with us as an emergency foster for a few days and is heading off to his new foster home today.
Hazel, however got here yesterday and will be looking for her forever family very soon.

We always get messages asking how people can help if they can’t foster.
The biggest help is donating directly to Oldies but Goodies or if you’d prefer to donate supplies, we’re always going through large puppy pads, Royal Canin Small Puppy biscuits, Prime100 rolls, paper towel 😅, blankets, washing powder and disinfectant wipes.

People often don’t realise just how much time fostering; especially puppies takes.
When they’re asleep, that’s my chance to catch up on everything else.
The rest of the day is spent cleaning, washing bedding and floors, feeding them (and my own dogs), vet trips, toilet training, socialising and surviving the sleepless nights…all while running and working this business on my own.

It’s definitely not for the faint hearted but we’ve got our routine down.
Hazelnut wouldn’t be here if we hadn’t of stepped in and seeing her safe, happy and simply getting to be a puppy again makes every bit of it worthwhile. 🩷

10 years, 1,053 walks and a lifetime of memories 🤍🐾

Brok wasn’t just a dog I walked.
He was the very first client who trusted me when I started “Chelsea’s Pet Services” all those years ago; both for house sitting and dog walking.

For almost 10 years (minus a short break while I was away in the Navy), this grumpy little pug / beagle has been a part of my life.

And yes… Brok was a grumpy old man even at 3 years old 😂

He may have given his mum a run for her money around other dogs, but he was always the dog I trusted with my whole heart to help introduce nervous dogs to the group.
I think he trusted me enough to know I would never put him in a position where he felt like he needed to argue his way through.

Because of Brok, so many dogs made their first friend and learnt the world wasn’t so scary.

I’ve never met a little dog with such a huge appetite or one who loved fruit quite like he did.
I always knew when I’d picked him up before breakfast because he’d make sure the whole neighbourhood knew about it; the entire car ride home 😂

I’ll never forget the week I missed his walks and he showed his disappointment by cocking his leg on my back seat… I was mortified but couldn’t help but laugh because I swear he was genuinely mad at me.

Thank you Brok not just for 1,053 walks but countless adventures, endless laughs and for being there from the very beginning.

Cancer sucks. You beat it once, but sadly the second time was too much.

I hope you’ve found Jazzy girl up there.
I hope there are endless trees to p*e on, endless sniffs to explore, sunny spots to nap in and more snacks and fruit than your little puggle heart could ever dream of.

Rest easy Brok boy 🤍🐾

Thank you for letting me say goodbye and share one last walk with your boy.

Just a heads up I will be away from 31st July - 10th August 🌴

All walks will be paused during this time and no bookings will be taken.
(unless already organised prior)
