checked in on dogs Lily + Pepi plus cats Chevy, Tom and Mindy while their family went away for part of the school holidays.

Lily, Pepi and Chevy enjoyed some human time but Tom and Mindy are very shy so they hid away so no photos taken.

My number one wish is for dogs to be able to live for many more years that they do on average 🐕💛

There's a life-extending drug in development for dogs that could increase the number of years you have with them 🐶⁠

At least that's the ruff idea from American biotech company Loyal, which was founded with the idea of creating a drug that could extend the life of a dog.⁠

It created a drug named LOY-001 (no prizes for guessing how they came up with that) which it reckons could help larger dogs live longer.⁠
⁠
According to Loyal's research, the bigger the dog the shorter the expected lifespan, with larger dogs living for between seven and 10 years on average while the smaller breeds could live for between 14 and 16 years.

spent time with Murphy + Maddie the Labradors while their family had a trip away to Phuket 🏝️

Like typical labs they love food, pats and playtime. Murphy is more of an independent guy whereas Maddie is a clingy girl who wants to be close to humans.

and spent 5 nights together while her family went over east for a wedding 👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏼‍♂️

We had a fun time together hanging out at Moe’s house with some lovely balcony views over looking Scarborough/Trigg 🏖️

Moe enjoys her daily walks, strolling along the Scarborough foreshore. Sniffing along the way, saying hello to other dogs and getting lots of attention from humans for how adorable she is, like a real life teddy bear.

Moe is a beautiful natured girl who is extremely photogenic. She is well behaved, gentle and has such a happy face. We had a wonderful time together 💟

spent time with Maya while her Dad went away on a little spontaneous trip to Bali 🏝️

Maya is a beautiful girl who is very close in age (2 months younger) than my GSD boy Filip 🐕 so due to them being the same age (9.5) and at a similar stage of life, her Dad was happy for Filip to hang out with Maya too. They were very cute together 🐕🩷🐕💙

Maya enjoys a pat and to carry around her many tennis balls. Over the weekend we added a bunch more colourful tennis balls to Maya’s collection from Kmart and PetBarn.

It was the best weekend hanging out with 2x GSD. What’s better than one GSD? The answer is TWO 🙂🙂

Monty and spent 4 nights together while his parents were off getting married 👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏼‍♂️

SURPRISE! Monty got to be a surprise guest at his parents wedding, getting to walk down the aisle before the bridesmaids and then his Mum as the bride. This was a surprise organised by his Mum as a surprise for his Dad 🦮

Monty is a dream golden boy. A typical Goldie with a beautiful Goldie nature and happy face 💛 He is a social boy who loves human attention but can also easily self entertain 😊

Like every time, Monty enjoys exploring the backyard, running around inside and outside playing with a wide array of toys 🎾

He had a good time on his little holiday but was also happy to go home to see his family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒
