Lou has a "Ground up" understanding of the Racehorse from breaking in for Arrowfield Stud to foreman for Richard Gibson in Chantilly France, Foreman and rider for Michael Halford on the prestigious Curragh in Ireland, Foreman for Paul Messara at the Arrowfield Training complex and travelling foreman for Gary and John Moore looking after and riding champion horses such as Takedown, Notlistenintome and Dan excel are just a few of the many stakes winning horses Lou has had the opportunity to ride and look after. Lou has a very hands on approach and likes to be involved in every aspect of training from riding trackwork to feeding and everything in between, He also has a great attention to detail and thoroughly enjoys understanding his horses and taking care of all daily treatments himself.

FLEETLY has notched up win no.1 from just her 4 start career today at Armidale.

This three year old daughter of Adelaide made easy work of the Armidale circuit with her regular jockey Jake Pracey-Holmes giving her a peach of a steer.
Worth mentioning is Fleetlys’ strapper was having his first time strapping today and was fortunate enough to leave with a winner.
