This ✨
This is what retirement should look like. 2 months ago my beautiful girls Blueberry and Odessa joined the Wallis Family in Victoria.
These two have been best mates since arriving at Bellou 4 years ago from Senadar (VIC) and Miriella (SA) - so a home where they could live out the rest of their lives together was non-negotiable.
I am ever so grateful to Angie and Kad for giving these girls the home they truly deserve.
I dropped the girls off myself to their new home in Melbourne and met Angie and Kad. Lots of tears along the way, parting with my cats was just as hard as I always thought it would be.
But it was clear even from the brief time I had spent with them that I had made the best decision. A little note on the fridge calender - "Odessa & Blueberry ❤️"
Even better yet, their new doggy siblings! Blueberry LOVES dogs 🐶 and clearly Odessa thinks they're pretty great now too.
In November 2024 Blueberry had her second and final litter. She blessed me with...
🖤 Blackberry, now living Melbourne with the Petropoulos Family.
🩵 Violet, stayed with me at Bellou.
In February 2025 Odessa had her second and final litter. She blessed me with a Singleton girl
🤎 Delilah, stayed with me at Bellou.
Violet and Delilah now carry forward Blueberry and Odessa's legacies at Bellou and I'm excited to see what they produce from my planned pairings 🐈
Before leaving Bellou the girls had the full treatment from our wonderful vets
- Yearly Vaccination
- Desexing
- Full Dental Clean with any necessary extractions
I will have more retired queens available throughout the year, then some early new year potentially. I am also looking to retire two of my gorgeous stud boys early-mid 2027.
