We’re starting our next round of small-group classes next week and only have a few places remaining in the Everyday Skills Level 1:

✅ Wednesday 9:30am
✅ Saturday 10:30am (under 1 year old)
✅ Saturday 12:00pm (under 1 year old)

The next level classes - Everyday Skills 2 and Bonding Beyond Basics (tricks, rally & low level agility) are currently full, but message us if you would like to be added to the waitlist.

A huge congratulations to these wonderful dogs and their handlers who successfully passed their therapy dog assessment this weekend after training with us.

Watching these teams grow in confidence, calmness and connection has been such a privilege. These dogs have worked hard learning how to remain gentle, thoughtful and adaptable in a wide range of environments — all while still being the lovely dogs their families adore at home.

Therapy dogs do far more than just visit. They help people smile, start conversations, feel calmer, feel less alone and reconnect with the world around them. That takes a very special kind of dog and an equally dedicated handler behind them.

We are incredibly proud of every team and cannot wait to see the difference they make out in the community. Welcome to ANIMAL COMPANIONS TEAM. Well done everyone — your dogs were brilliant.

There is something incredibly special about watching a young dog begin their journey with a purpose.

Whether they are learning the foundations to become a therapy dog bringing comfort to others, or training towards assistance dog work supporting their handler in daily life — these pups are already showing just how clever, adaptable and thoughtful dogs can be.

From learning calm focus around distractions, to choosing to check in with their handler, settle quietly, or confidently explore new environments — every small skill is a huge step forward.

We are so proud of the young dogs and dedicated handlers putting in the time, patience and teamwork to build these future partnerships. The future looks very bright for these clever pups.

Everyday Skills - Puppies Under 1 year

Calm Canines - for those that need to settle around other dogs and need more space.

Bonding Beyond Basics - for those who have some level of good behaviour or have done the Level 1 course.

Everyday Skills Level 2 - for those who have finished Level 1.

What a wonderful day at our Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea event at the Dog Training & Enrichment Centre.

Thank you to everyone who came along, donated, grabbed a coffee or cake, chatted, shared cuddles with the dogs, or simply helped spread the word. Together we raised funds for Cancer Council while creating a lovely community atmosphere.

Seeing the whiteboard fill up with paw prints throughout the day was something really special and a lovely reminder of how much dogs bring people together.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support from our clients, friends, neighbours and local community. Thank you for helping us make a difference. 💛🐾
