Little Danny Go was the picture of pure contentment today. He was completely happy to sleep right through me touching his tiny toe beans, clicking his little toenails, gently checking inside his ears, and giving him lots of soft tummy tickles!

These gentle handling sessions are so much more than just a sweet bonding moment; they build the foundation for a lifetime of confidence. Getting them used to these sensations now makes everything in their future—from routine vet check-ups and professional grooming sessions to everyday family life and paw wipes—an absolute breeze!

We treasure these quiet, sleepy moments with the puppies. We’re soaking them all in right now, especially knowing that in just a matter of days, they will be ramping up their energy levels and their playtime is going to kick into overdrive!

Today’s handling curriculum took a very sleepy turn! Red Wiggle was so incredibly comfy and relaxed during his toe-touching exercises that he promptly fell straight to sleep without a care in the world. In fact, Danny Go and Miss Rachel did the exact same thing!

Early desensitisation and handling are such important parts of our puppy program, helping to build confident, resilient dogs who are completely relaxed with being touched.

Little Blippi was the only one who managed to keep his eyes open for a bit! He had a grand old time with Grandma Ann, who popped over for some wonderful handling and puppy cuddles. He spent his time playing, snuggling, and happily nibbling away at her... until the puppy sleep dust finally caught up with him too.

Very gentle exposure to the outside world. Seeing mama come and go gives the Pups confidence and willingness to give it a whirl, in their own time.

We couldn't let winter arrive without one final Adelaide Groodles Catch Up!
From our wise, fabulous older dogs to the chaotic energy of the youngins, the excitement was contagious and the play was non-stop.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out. Stay cosy over the next couple of months, everyone—we can't wait to see you all again for our big Spring catch up!

Molly’s Miniatures are 4 Weeks Old!

Our glorious miniature Groodle litter, born to first-time mama Molly, are officially four weeks (and 2 days) of age and developing beautifully!

Audio socialisation and sound exposure have been a huge focus for us this week. The puppies have been confidently listening to construction noises, children talking and yelling, fireworks, and general household banging and clanging to build their ultimate resilience.

Their little personalities are shining through so brightly:

Blippi is our brave explorer, having an absolute ball interacting with all the new toys and objects placed in the whelping box.

Miss Rachel is a total foodie who is completely obsessed with her food bowl!

Danny Go and Wiggle are leading the pack as our total snuggle bugs, loving nothing more than cuddle time and cozy naps.

There are less than two more weeks until our four waitlist families get to meet their furever friends in person! Until then, we are keeping them up to date with plenty of video and photo updates while they count down the days.
