Meet Zuri! 💜

This cheeky girl has reached adolescence and has become a handful! 🫣

Adolescent dogs go through a stage where they test boundaries, become more independent, and can seem to forget everything they've previously learned. Hormonal changes, increased confidence, curiosity, and excitement about the world around them can all contribute to "naughty" behaviours such as ignoring cues, pulling on lead, jumping up, or making their own decisions! 😅

However, this stage is completely normal and is the perfect time to invest in training. Consistent training helps reinforce good habits, improve focus and impulse control, strengthen communication between dog and owner, and provide clear boundaries during this challenging developmental period. 🐕✨

Zuri worked hard on her obedience skills, learning that listening can still be rewarding even when the world is full of distractions! We're excited to watch her progress and help channel all that teenage energy into positive behaviours. 🐾

Welcome Shayla! 🫶

Shayla is a valued member of our team, providing weekend support with our boarding dogs and ensuring every pup receives plenty of love and attention. She takes great pride in keeping everything clean, organised, and running smoothly, with an exceptional eye for detail!

When she’s not caring for our dogs, Shayla enjoys spending time with her own animals. Shayla is a passionate animal lover, especially when it comes to horses and dogs. Her family includes horse Max, cat Ninja, and her two much-loved Boxers, Dotty and Arrow. 🐎🐈‍⬛️🐶

We are incredibly grateful to have Shayla as part of our team. Her dedication, hard work, and genuine love for animals make her a wonderful asset to both our dogs and their owners. If you're visiting on a weekend, there's a good chance you'll be greeted by Shayla and your dog receiving one of her signature cuddles! 🐾💜

Meet Dissell! 💙

Dissel is learning valuable life skills that will set him up for success as he grows. Early training helps puppies understand expectations, develop confidence, and learn how to engage positively with the world around them. ✨

These formative weeks are the perfect time to introduce foundational obedience, build resilience, and encourage good habits before unwanted behaviours have a chance to develop. Most importantly, it creates a strong partnership between puppy and owner, helping raise a confident and well-mannered dog! 📚

Meet Tim Tam & Oreo! 🍫🍪

These gorgeous girls stayed with us for four weeks while their family enjoyed a holiday. They were an absolute pleasure to have around and quickly settled in!

They enjoyed exploring the farm, play time, and collecting sticks on long walks! Judging by their happy faces and wagging tails, we're fairly confident they enjoyed their holiday! 🐾✨

Molly has started her training early, giving her the best possible foundation for future learning. Starting young helps puppies develop good behaviour, confidence, and clear communication skills from the beginning! 👩‍🏫

Early training builds essential obedience and social skills during a key stage of development. It also helps prevent unwanted behaviours from forming, strengthens the bond between pup and owner, and supports a calm, well-adjusted dog that can confidently handle new environments! 🐾
