Promoting Responsible Dog Ownership with Obedience Training
MRODC has been training dogs and their owners in the Macedon Ranges area since it's inception in 1979. We aim to provide an opportunity for owners to gain a better understanding of their dogs through obedience training and to provide them with the skills necessary to integrate their pet into the family and the wider community. We offer classes from entry-level beginner's classes, suitable for new owners with a young puppy or new dog, continuing right through to the formal discipline of competitive obedience trials. The club also hosts regular events, including fun days, inter-club competitions and obedience trials. Our club rooms are open on training days, and include a well-stocked library containing books on a wide range of dog-related topics including general interest to training and behaviour. We also have a club shop that stocks most dog training requisites such as leads and collars.
