hey are not complicated animals, its humans that make it seem so. If you let them, they will take advantage of you very quickly. Without a leader it is not clear what is expected of them. Everything should be binary, they can, or they can’t, no grey areas this is what creates issues. Dogs don’t take things personal when you ask something of them. They respect, understand, and need authority in their life. This is what keeps control of the pack & you have to be the leader. Being a former Military Police Dog Handler I have trained dogs to an exceptionally high standard. These methods are what I use to teach you how to train your own dog. The key to good training and handling is understanding how to communicate on your dog’s level. This is something I will teach you, and after mastering this, the responses and bond with your dog will improve exponentially.

I will be conducting a two hour Puppy seminar Tuesday, December 16th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

The focus in the seminar is to teach people the most important things when starting out with their Puppy to get them started on the right track.

In this live I talk about:

The pros and cons of desexing your dog. My advice is do your own research. There have been in-depth studies done on this that have given recommendations to specific breeds and the age they feel it is safest to do it.

As a trainer, I believe there is a correlation between early desexing and more fear based Reactive Dogs.

In this live I want to remind people about understanding the breed they buy and not having unrealistic expectations.

Yes, all dogs can learn but this does not mean every dog is capable of the same high standard of what behaviour you are teaching your dog.

What and how fast the dog can learn is very breed dependent.

This video is to draw attention to a recent price rise in temporary license permits to use public areas. This price rise affects many people who have to pay for these permits and it is not an acceptable rise in fees.

My price increase went from $508 to $1400 in a one year period.

I am aiming to draw attention to it to push back against it and hopefully make a change.

I would appreciate anyone share in this video to draw more attention towards this unfair price increase.

In this live I cover a few topics that I think are very important for owners to listen to.
- Who you hire to help train your dog should be researched.
- Pay less often means get less especially in the Dog training world
- The barrier to entry for being a Dog trainer is zero so make sure you have some testimonials from other people who have used the Trainer. Or you can see them online showing how they train a dog to make sure you are comfortable with it and believe they can help you. 
- Make sure you’re comfortable with whoever walks your dog and how many they walk at once.

This is a very important piece of advice when training your Puppy. If you practice calling your dog from a stay when they’re in a beginner stage this will create anticipation and intern possibly ruin your stay.
