Port Augusta Pony Club The Port Augusta Pony Club aims to encourage young people to ride horses and to learn about and enjoy all kinds of sports connected with horses and riding.

We provide instruction in riding and horsemanship and also in the proper care of horses in a safe and inclusive environment
The Port Augusta Pony Club strives towards a fun and informative learning environment for all. We are a friendly, family-oriented club run by hard working volunteers. We have fantastic facilities and invite you to visit for a Pony Club Rally or one of our shows. FACILITIES

ort Augusta Pony Club has fully fenced grounds with ample float parking, a secure bull ring, fenced dressage arena, two large open work areas, lights on the main arena, large clubhouse including a canteen, toilet, 21 large undercover stables and 9 day stalls. RALLIES
We hold monthly rallies generally on the second Saturday of the month. Stay tuned to our page for what is happening at our awesome club! HIRE
The Port Augusta Pony Club facilities can be hired through-out the year. Port Augusta Pony Club is a well-known resting point for people travelling through Port Augusta with their horses. There is a large bullring and fenced dressage arena which provides a great opportunity for horses to walk around and stretch their legs, especially after a long journey. Hiring Costs
Stables: $15.00 per horse (you clean your yards)
$25.00 per horse (we clean your yards)
Ground Hire Fee: Contact to discuss your requirements for costings

Hi all
The event is coming together and looks like its going to be quite a spectacular event, thanks to the hard-working committee of the Port Augusta Pony Club and the many community volunteers. We are 2 weeks out need your support to make this an awesome event so get your entry's in through NOMINATE.
I think the riders who supported us last year will enjoy the changes in the courses and of course the catering again will be tops

🎉🐴 Happy Horses' Birthday from Pony Club Australia! 🐴🎉

August 1 is a special day on the equestrian calendar — it’s the official birthday of every horse and pony born in the Southern Hemisphere, no matter when their real birthday falls. That includes Pony Club mounts, off-the-track Thoroughbreds, cheeky Shetlands, and everything in between!

Why? It helps standardise age groups for competition — especially in racing and other age-based sports. So even if your pony was born in October or December, today they officially turn a year older.

Whether you’re riding today, feeding treats, or just giving your best mate a scratch in their favourite spot, join us in wishing them a happy birthday!

Such a fun rally today!

Port Augusta Pony Club hosted an ODE training day with members from Burra and Clare Pony Club joining in.

Plenty of cheering and smiling today!

Thanks to all those who helped out today - and of course our star instructor Bec who volunteers her time and knowledge…we’d be lost without you!
