Port Augusta Pony Club The Port Augusta Pony Club aims to encourage young people to ride horses and to learn about and enjoy all kinds of sports connected with horses and riding.

We provide instruction in riding and horsemanship and also in the proper care of horses in a safe and inclusive environment
The Port Augusta Pony Club strives towards a fun and informative learning environment for all. We are a friendly, family-oriented club run by hard working volunteers. We have fantastic facilities and invite you to visit for a Pony Club Rally or one of our shows. FACILITIES

ort Augusta Pony Club has fully fenced grounds with ample float parking, a secure bull ring, fenced dressage arena, two large open work areas, lights on the main arena, large clubhouse including a canteen, toilet, 21 large undercover stables and 9 day stalls. RALLIES
We hold monthly rallies generally on the second Saturday of the month. Stay tuned to our page for what is happening at our awesome club! HIRE
The Port Augusta Pony Club facilities can be hired through-out the year. Port Augusta Pony Club is a well-known resting point for people travelling through Port Augusta with their horses. There is a large bullring and fenced dressage arena which provides a great opportunity for horses to walk around and stretch their legs, especially after a long journey. Hiring Costs
Stables: $15.00 per horse (you clean your yards)
$25.00 per horse (we clean your yards)
Ground Hire Fee: Contact to discuss your requirements for costings

What a fantastic day at the Port Augusta Pony Club for the final round of our Dressage & Showjumping Series! 🐴🏆

From first-time competitors to experienced riders, it was wonderful to see everyone out enjoying their horses, challenging themselves, and supporting one another.

This series has been about so much more than competition – it’s been about building confidence, developing skills, creating friendships, and bringing our local horse community together. We couldn’t be prouder of every rider who participated.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, committee, officials, sponsors, families, and supporters who make these events possible. Your time and dedication are what keep our club thriving.

Congratulations to all competitors, and thank you for helping make this series such a success!

Sunday, 5th July - School Holiday fun!

Ever wanted to learn more about pony club?

Join us for a fun-filled Come & Try Day where participants will have the opportunity to:

✨ Learn about horses and basic horse care
✨ Help groom and prepare a pony
✨ Enjoy a supervised ride
✨ Meet our friendly members and ponies

Whether you’re completely new to horses or just curious about what Pony Club is all about, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a go in a safe and supportive environment.

📅 1-hour sessions available:
• 10:00am – 11:00am
• 11:00am – 12:00pm
• 12:00pm – 1:00pm
• 1:00pm – 2:00pm

💰 $50 per participant
☕ Canteen facilities available on the day
🐴 All ages welcome
👟 Closed-toe shoes required

The Port Augusta Pony Club Dressage & Showjumping Series wraps up on Sunday 14th June 2026, and we’d love to see you there!

Whether you’re a seasoned competitor, a nervous first-timer, or just looking for a fun day out with your horse, this series is all about encouraging riders in a supportive and relaxed environment.

Our Chief Instructor, mentor, cheerleader, and steady hand. The one who is always there to guide our riders, share her knowledge, and quietly make sure everything falls into place.

We are so grateful for everything Bec does for our club and our members. Here she is with our three riders proudly representing Port Augusta Pony Club at Zones in Burra. We couldn’t do it without her. 💙🐴✨
