It's a Three-peat!!! 🥇🥇🥇
Lowe Farm's wins 2026 Royal Adelaide Show Champion Chaff.
With crops this year looking the best they have since 2016, it’s easy to forget the challenges of the past few years — some of the lowest rainfall on record, followed by unseasonal downpours on rows of hay curing in the paddock.
That’s why we’re especially proud to share that Lowe Farms has once again been awarded Champion Chaff at the Royal Adelaide Show — for the third year running!

This year’s award is particularly special given the calibre of the competition. There were some exceptional samples entered by highly regarded chaff producers from across South Australia, making the result all the more rewarding. Congratulations to all the exhibitors in this years Grains & Fodder Competition — it was a wonderful showcase of the quality Ag Produce being grown across our state in a challenging year.
For us, this award means a little more each year.
Our chaff starts in our own paddocks, with the decisions we make about what to grow, when to cut, when to bale and, sometimes, whether a crop is good enough to make the grade at all. From growing and harvesting through to cutting and bagging, we control the process from paddock to bag.
The last few seasons certainly haven’t made that easy.
So to be recognised as producing SA’s Champion Chaff for three consecutive years, through some incredibly challenging growing seasons, is something our whole family and team are very proud of.
Most importantly, it reinforces what we work towards every day — producing consistent, quality fodder that we’re happy to put our family name on.
Thank you to our customers who continue to support a South Australian family farming business. We’re looking forward to what, fingers crossed, is shaping up to be a much kinder season in 2026. 🌾
