💜 Indi is looking for something special... 💜

After some big changes in her life, sweet Indi has decided she'd much rather spend her days with friends than on her own. This clever girl has developed a habit of hopping rural fences, and when she's found, she's usually off socialising with the local dogs!

That's why we think Indi's perfect retirement home would include a canine companion to keep her company. Someone to share her days with, a toy to fetch, and humans who are home more often than not.

At 10 years young, Indi knows exactly what she likes. While she's spent years helping keep an eye on the youngsters, she's ready for a quieter lifestyle these days. We'd love to see her in a home with older children or teens who can respect her space and enjoy her company without the hustle and bustle that comes with younger kids.

Indi has so much love, loyalty, and companionship to offer. All she's asking for is a family who understands that her happiest days are spent with friends by her side.

After coming into HAART’s care following a motor vehicle incident, resilient young Blackberry has recovered beautifully and is now ready to find his forever family ❤️

This handsome boy is full of love, personality, and charm. Blackberry would thrive as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the attention and affection from his people.

🌧️ Wet and wild weather is hitting Perth and the South West this long weekend — please keep your pets safe 🐾❤️

Storms, heavy rain, strong winds and cold temperatures can be stressful for our furry family members, especially those who spend time outdoors.

A few simple ways to help keep pets safe during rough weather:

🐶 Bring pets indoors or provide warm, dry shelter protected from wind and rain
🐱 Check fences and gates are secure, as storms can frighten animals and cause them to escape
🛏️ Provide extra blankets and warm bedding, especially for short-coated, young or elderly pets
💧 Make sure fresh water is available and bowls are kept clean from debris
⚡ Keep nervous pets calm with safe indoor enrichment, treats, toys, or a quiet cosy space
🚗 Please slow down on the roads — frightened wildlife and pets can dart unexpectedly into traffic during storms

If you see an injured animal, please contact your local ranger or wildlife carer where appropriate.

Enrichment is so important for indoor cats — and this is such a fun way to help them burn energy and stay mentally stimulated 🐾💨

Cat wheels can be amazing for active cats who love to run, climb, and play, giving them a safe outlet for exercise while keeping life interesting indoors. Watching them discover the wheel and suddenly turn into tiny furry athletes is always entertaining 😹

Keeping cats enriched with toys, climbing spaces, puzzles, and activities like this can make such a difference to their confidence, wellbeing, and overall happiness.

Monty and his beloved red bear ❤️

This sweet boy is happiest with a toy in his mouth, gently carrying it around and trying ever so carefully to remove the tags like it’s a very important job 🧸

Monty is such a soft soul. Playful, affectionate, and full of personality, he loves being close to his people and will happily trade cuddles for tummy rubs. He enjoys his walks, sunshine naps, and letting you know when he thinks it’s time for more attention.

While he’s living with little dogs at the moment and trying his best to work out how to play with them, Monty would truly shine as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the love for himself.

He’s well-mannered, can be left alone without fuss, and has those big soulful eyes that make it impossible not to fall in love.

Best suited to a home without small children.

Feel Good Friday 💛

Eddie is doing so well! He’s a total little cuddle monster and absolutely adores his brother Ziggy. As you can see, he’ll always find the comfiest spot—usually in someone’s arms or curled up on a lap.

We honestly can’t fault him… he’s just the sweetest boy 🥰

🐾Tazzie - Looking for his forever home 🏡

Play, eat, sleep, repeat — that’s my life motto! I’d happily live with dogs big or small, but I especially love high-energy dog friends who’ll zoom around with me. I’m a smart boy with great manners and know all my basic obedience and more.

I can be shy at first and need slow introductions, but treats are definitely the way to my heart. Once I trust you, I’m incredibly loyal and cuddly — lap dog status included!

I’m muzzle, crate and pen trained, and I bond best through walks, training and snacks. I could learn to live with small animals with careful introductions, and I don’t even mind birds. Kids are still a bit scary for me right now though.

My favourite things are dog playtime, cardboard destruction, treat puzzles, sniffy walks, car rides and snoozing under blankets. The world can feel overwhelming sometimes, so I prefer quiet adventures in small doses. But with my people? I’m the sweetest, snuggliest boy around.
