One of the biggest myths we hear in grooming.

Dogs don’t suddenly stop growing hair because the weather gets colder.

Matting still happens.
Nails still grow.
Dead undercoat still builds up.
Paws still get muddy and compacted.
Coats still need maintenance.

And here’s one people don’t think about… jackets and coats 🧥🐶

A lot of dogs wear coats around this time of year, and while they can absolutely be needed for some dogs, constant rubbing from jackets can create friction matting — especially around the chest, armpits, legs, neck and harness areas.

Winter can actually create MORE coat maintenance, not less.

Routine grooming isn’t just about looking cute — it’s comfort, coat health, skin health, hygiene and wellbeing.
