We had a gorgeous weekend away in Port Macquarie learning from our friends Referral & Emergency Centre 🐾

🚨 Avian Influenza (Bird Flu) Alert 🚨

With Avian Influenza (H5 bird flu) now detected in Australia, we’re asking everyone to help protect our native wildlife by remembering:

🚫 AVOID – Do not touch sick or dead birds or wildlife. Keep children and pets well away.
📍 RECORD – Take note of the location and, if safe from a distance, take a photo or video.
📞 REPORT – Call the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888 to report sick, injured or multiple dead birds/wildlife.

🐕 Please keep dogs on leads around wildlife areas and keep cats indoors where possible.

Every report helps experts respond quickly and protect Australia’s precious wildlife 💚🐨🦜

Frank is an 11-week-old Italian Greyhound that we recently saw for his first vaccination and a microchip! 🥰

He didn't even notice the needles that Dr. Vanessa gave him, as he was too focused on the yummy treats the nurses were feeding him 💉🍭

We are SO excited to continue to watch him grow! 😍
