THIS is definately something that governments should be addressing, not the use of training tools.
Yes training tools can be misused and cause harm (flat collars, harnesses, head halters are in the mix of the commonly named tools also, let's not be nieve) BUT breeders breeding dogs KNOWING the pups will have health issues is CRIMINAL. I'll go as far as if a breeder DOESN'T do the genetic testing that IS available for the specific breed, that too can potentially cause health issues is also criminal.

TOTALLY AGREE.
If you do NOT have FULL CONTROL of your dog have them ON LEASH.
What is FULL CONTROL? NOT ONLY is it LAW in AUSTRALIA BUT it is you can say a single cue to your dog to communicate not to continue doing what you are about to do and they LISTEN and follow your instruction.
YOUR dog MAY BE FRIENDLY but the dogs ON LEASH may have fears or over arousal issues and your dog (friendly or not) can make the on lead dogs worse. :(
BE respectful and have your dog ON LEASH.
BE responsible and have your dog ON LEASH.
OR TRAIN TO A HIGH LEVEL so you CAN responsibly and respectfully have your dog OFF LEASH.

𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐨, 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞! 🎉 We just threw an assessment BASH with the Club of Victoria @rottweilerclubofvictoria on 24/09/25 and it was a 𝐝𝐨𝐠𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞! By putting our furry friends through the 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, we're basically teaching them to be the coolest cats in the room (even though they're dogs, obvs). 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐰𝐬-𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐬 to K9 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐊𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐚, 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐚 & 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢 for acing it with flying colors! 🎉
