There's still officially one more month of winter this year but as we all know in the mountains its colder way past August. Don't forget this Sunday is the Blackheath Growers Market from 8am-12noon at the Blackheath Park Cnr of Gardiners Crescent and the Great Western Highway, Blackheath NSW. We are in our new spot for the past few months in the centre of the park near the circle on the pathway.

Come check out the stalls, grab some food and come say HI! Bring your dog and if can't, bring their measurements. We will be packing our usual wintery wonders - Luxe Polar Fleece Snugs and Tankies, Handmade Chunky Cable Knits and Pom Pom Sweaters, Feather Couture Sweaters, Knitted Beanies, ZOO Snoods, Dapper Dogs Collection Herringbone Tweed Vintage Style Caps, Collars and Bow Ties and our Highland Jackets and last few remaining pieces of the Dog Face Puffers and some last remaining wool coats for the season. As well of course as our printed neoprene harness ranges of collars, bandanas, leashes, harnesses, disposable p**p bag holders and adjustable car restraints and our Luxe Fabric Harness Ranges too. Winter is the perfect opportunity to look even more fashionable than ever as well as warm and comfortable.

August is jam packed with doggy events - do not forget our Norman Lindsay Gallery & Museum annual DOGS DAY OUT on Saturday 23rd August 2025 - at the Norman Lindsay Gallery & Museum in Faulconbridge. Starting from 11am-4pm you're invited to attend this annual picnic event to celebrate International Dogs Day. You can pack a picnic or purchase your food from the stalls there on the day and HendricksandMaple will be there along with other pawsome doggy stalls too. So bring your dog, bring your family for a fun day at the Gallery grounds.

This year HendricksandMaple is proudly sponsoring the BEST DRESSED prize so if you happen to be the lucky winner come and see us and select any gear for your pooch up to the value of $100! There's also the LOOK ALIKE competition and BEST HAIRDO competition to show off your pets grooming! As well as pawcasso painting, you can pre book a professional portrait session, training displays from the Springwood Dog Training Club and just a fun day out with your dog - thats all about them!

Norman Lindsay Gallery & Museum DOGS DAY OUT 2025 is back!!!
Hendricks and Maple will be there so come and say HI to us! We will pack as much as we can so come and check out our gorgeous range of designer dog clothing and accessories.

This year its on a Saturday 23rd August 2025 from 11am - 4pm its $5 entry, Members free, $10 Gallery Entry. Bring your dog, pack a picnic or purchase food from the stalls on the day and come join the fun. Norman Lindsay Gallery, 14 Norman Lindsay Crescent, Faulconbridge NSW 2776.

There will paw painting, Competitions start at 1pm for various categories such as Best Dressed / Fancy Dress, a Lookalikes Competition (Dog and Owner) and Best Hairdo Competition to show off snazzy grooming! With some pretty cool prizes too!

Check out some of the Springwood Dog Training Club pups too.

Well behaved, non aggressive dogs only please! Dogs must remain on a leash at all times and avoid the bushland areas, and please no sick or contagious dogs and make sure there's no P**P left behind! Always check your pup for ticks after frequenting any area near bushland too.

Another wonderful event upcoming - CALLING ALL PAWRENTS!!!! Don't forget the Norman Lindsay Gallery & Museum Dogs Day Out 2025 Event this year - they've changed it to a Saturday this year - come and have a day of fun with your dog - this will be our third year attending the event and it is a lot of fun - I personally always love meeting my cute customers and their dog mums and dads but I love the lookalike and fashion competitions - my friend won last year with her gorgeous labradoodle Ember in Hendricks and Maple gear! Devastatingly, Ember passed away unexpectedly only a few weeks after then and so it is a moment my friend and I will always cherish and remember. I also love watching our wonderful training dogs too - thats if I can get away for a moment to check it out! Come and say HI to us this year and as always bring your picnic or purchase food on the day and don't forget to check out the Gallery as well! Its the only day of the year you can bring your dog to there so make the most of it!
