Paddock bulls available from Parawanga, over thirty young bulls here including these four. Using only original genuine droughtmaster types, we have bred for plenty of parasite resistance and mobility plus ability to survive unassisted in rugged Aussie environments. We like a bit extra scale and leg and definitely cattle that cooperate in both paddock and yards. Our Parawanga Droughtmaster annual open day at KENMAY is on Saturday August 15.

Eye muscle to burn in this exceptional, sleek-coated 20 month old polled son of Calaanah Eggnog, Parawanga 1456. Arguably one of our best bulls ever bred since 1991, a PP bull whose presence is immediate and overwhelming, a sire that will take any herd forwards.
Here is Parawanga 1452(PP) aged 23 months, by Calaanah Eggnog x Parawanga 1823(P) a daughter of Billabong Alexander aged 8, who has had 5 calves, most recently a heifer calf last October. This bull is very heavily fleshed, with outstanding powerful masculine head, bone, width and smoothness and he is the quietest bull in a very chilled group of sale bulls. He will lead our sale team at the 2026 CQ Invitational Droughtmaster Sale at CQLX on Monday October 19. He can be viewed any time by appointment at KENMAY, or at our open day on Saturday August 15.

This heifer is Parawanga 1459 (P) by Calaanah Eggnog x Parawanga 314, dob 24/10/2024, now aged 19 months and ready to join. 314 is a 14 year old Parawanga Wynnum daughter, grand-daughter of Billabong Neon, who currently has another 6 month old calf. Minlacowie Zanzibar(HP) was a $14,000 purchase at the CQ invitational DM sale in 2023, and his sons will be available this spring. This is Parawanga 1518 (P), aged 14 months, out of Parawanga 1170, a daughter of Billabong Alexander. Zanzibar showed the exceptional length, leg and content plus a very tidy sheath that is standard for Minlacowie. He is a bull with plenty of bone and width. He clicked very well with our cow herd, producing a lot of terrific heifers that we are very excited to take on in our stud herd. The weaner heifers pictured are 7 months and 12 months. The CQ invitational droughtmaster sale is a fantastic place to buy a stud sire, and it will be held once again in 2026 at CQLX on Monday, October 19.

PARAWANGA WATEGO calves are appearing now, all quality. This bloke is one month old, out of Parawanga 1078, a Calaanah Eggnog daughter. Rocky Repro has the Watego semen for domestic and international sale. Watego is a very heavy, muscular HP bull with presence, and will add content and scale to any herd. Just a small selection of some of our yearling bulls being prepared for spring sales. We always have dozens of young bulls and heifers available. This group will be the last of the Calaanah Eggnog and Parawanga Tweed bulls, as we see baby calves on the ground from new season sires including Parawanga Tirroan, Parawanga Watego, Parawanga Fire and Wine and Minlacowie Baxter as well as more from Minlacowie Zanzibar. Photos will come of some calves.
