A reminder that Beelarong’s Farmgate sale will be on this Saturday 30 August, at the usual time 9.00 – 12.00.
🍋🍊 We’re still in the middle of citrus season, so you’ll notice a common theme in many of the offerings. So let's start with marmalades: Choko lime and ginger, Orange, Mixed Citrus, Mandarin, Lime, and Cumquat Marmalade.
Still on the citrus theme, there’s also Preserved Lemons. 🍋
We’ve also got Rosella Jam, Strawberry Jam 🍓, Mango and passionfruit jam 🥭, and the perennial favourites Lemon Butter and Lemon & Passionfruit Butter. 🕘 You need to be early to get these as we only have a small quantity each month and they sell quickly.
We have a great range of boutique chutneys like Jaboticaba and Banana chutney 🍌, Caramelised onion chutney 🧅, Green papaya chutney, River Cottage Glutney. Then there’s Spicy zucchini pickle 🌶️, Indian lime pickles (great with curry 🍛), and Capsicum Relish. Plus everyone’s favourites Sweet mustard pickles and Tomato relish 🍅.
🍹 Cordials are also becoming popular and this month we have Lime cordial, Grapefruit cordial and Lemon and ginger cordial.
Jams and cordials are $7 each, whilst Preserved Lemon and the Lemon Butters and $9. Cash or card is fine.
Whilst you’re at the Farmgate sale, check out the craft and cards available, all locally made. 🧵And there’s a range of succulents and bromeliads, plus a selection of herbs and vegetables. 🌱 Spring is coming and it’s a great time to get planting!
