Please Welcome Kylie Harber to Rosella Cottage for the next 6 weeks! 👩‍🎨

Kylie Harber is a Brisbane-based artist, designer and founder of Tiny Giraffe, a creative studio specialising in bespoke wallpaper murals, patterned wallpapers and artworks inspired by the places we leave our hearts.

Inspired by place, memory, landscape and belonging, Kylie creates immersive environments that help people connect more deeply to themselves and the spaces they spend time in. Her work combines art, illustration, storytelling and spatial thinking to transform walls into meaningful experiences that celebrate identity, culture and place.

Drawing on a 20-year career in landscape architecture and urban design, Kylie approaches each project with a unique understanding of how art can shape atmosphere, create connection and bring a sense of place to the built environment.

🎨 Through murals, wallpaper, public art and illustrated artworks, Kylie collaborates with businesses, councils, developers and designers to create spaces that are designed to be remembered.

This is the final weekend that Margeurita 👩‍🎨, our resident artist, will have her sound installation set up in Rosella Cottage during our Farmgate Sale.
She painted the Rainforest and fields of flowers murals which, with music 🎶, transport the viewer to a relaxing, uplifting natural space. 🌳🌺
Don't miss it! Come to the farm this Saturday between 9am and 12 noon and grab some goodies at the same time - choose between jams, preserves, plants, honey, vanilla products and handcrafted items.

Join us on Saturday 30th at the Farm for our May Farmgate Sale commencing at 9 am and finishing up at 12 noon.
😋 As usual we are selling a lovely selection of jams and savory condiments such as authentic Lime Pickle, very spicy 🌶️; our seasonal favourite, Rosella Jam, which will now be available for some months; some more of the popular Strawberry Jam 🍓, Sweet Mustard Pickles, Tomato Relish 🍅, Lemon Butter and Passionfruit & Lemon Butter 🍋, and a large variety of tasty combinations.
🌿 We have some Culinary Vanilla pods grown right here at Beelarong Farm and made ready for sale – two pods in a reusable glass tube or vanilla extract.
🍯 Try our delicious Honey from two private Flow Hives in Carina which is being sold at our Farmgate sale for $5 a jar. This month we also have trays of Honeycomb for sale - a special taste treat.
Our jams and savouries are selling for $7 a jar and Lemon Butters are $9 a jar.
🧷 We will have on sale our lovely hand-crafted items e.g. aprons, clothes hangers, peg bags and more. The beautiful watercolor cards showcasing local landmarks and streets are always popular.
👨‍🌾 There will also be a table of plants and potted ornamentals for the gardener.
This is the final weekend that Margeurite 👩‍🎨, our resident artist, will have her artwork for sale in Rosella Cottage, so don't miss your opportunity.

Beelarong’s next Farmgate sale is coming up on Saturday 2 May at the usual time 9am to noon. Perfect timing for Mother’s Day the following weekend! 👪 Hope you’ve seen the previous post featuring some craft items that would make great presents. 🎁

We’re excited to offer for sale our very own Beelarong Vanilla! 🌱 Our vines are Bourbon or Madagascar Vanilla, a variety primarily grown in Madagascar, Indonesia and other islands in the southwestern Indian Ocean. The flavour profile is rich, creamy, sweet and buttery, whilst the beans are long, dark and oily, often with tiny seeds.
We have three products available for sale, all organically grown at the Farm:
🌿 Culinary Vanilla – 2 pods in a reusable glass tube
🧴 Vanilla Extract available in 2 sizes – 60ml and 120ml
🧪 Extract Kits for you to make your own extract by adding 40% ABV spirit such as vodka, or food grade glycerine.

We’ll have more local honey, which sold out last time. 🍯 Feedback has been that it is delicious. And as something special, we’ll also have honeycomb! Looks scrumptious! 😋

Of course, all your favourite jams, chutneys and pickles will also be on sale, together with hand crafted items, cards and plants. 🧵 🌼 Our artist in residence, Margeurite, will have original paintings available in Rosella Cottage, ranging from hand painted cards to larger artworks. 🖼️

Please mark the date in your diary so you don’t miss out. We look forward to seeing you!

♻️ And as always, we welcome the return of any empty jars that you purchased from us, so that we can reuse them after washing and sterilising.

🗓️ Change of date – April Farmgate sale now Saturday 2 May

Normally our Farmgate sale is the last Saturday of the month, but for April, this will fall on Anzac Day. So we have made the decision to postpone Farmgate for a week, to Saturday 2 May.
Don’t forget that apart from preserves, we have a lovely variety of handcrafted items like these aprons, clothes hangers and peg bags. 🎁👩 Perfect gifts for Mothers Day, Sunday 10 May, for the special lady in your life.
