🐾💖 TULLY UPDATE 💖🐾

Our beautiful girl has made it through surgery and did amazingly well 🥹🙏 over 4 hours of surgery time 😢

The DOGtors were able to complete everything planned for Tully, including the removal of a heartbreaking 17 teeth 🦷😢🤯

To think this sweet girl has been living with that level of pain for so long is simply devastating… but tonight she is resting comfortably and now finally has the chance to heal 💕

Thank you to every single person who donated, shared, prayed and stood beside Tully throughout this journey. Because of YOU, this life-changing surgery was possible 🐾💖

Now begins the road to recovery for our precious little Trancing Queen 🐯✨

Today our beautiful girl heads to the DOGtors for her extensive dental surgery 🏥🐯

To say my stomach is doing backflips would be an understatement. I’m sure many of you know that feeling of worry and trepidation when handing over a beloved soul for surgery… and today it is very real 😢

Our hope is that Tully’s full dental can be completed safely and without incident, allowing her painful teeth and ongoing infection to finally be treated properly so she can continue enjoying the happy life she has only just begun to truly experience 💕

Please keep Tully in your thoughts, prayers and positive vibes today as she faces this next step in her journey 🙏✨

🐾🐯 TULLY’S HAPPY TAILS PUPDATE 🐯🐾

Tully’s DOGtor visit on Monday was nothing short of AMAZING 🤩

GOOD NEWS all round 📰💕

DOGtor Abby was incredibly impressed with our beautiful girl and commented on just how amazing Tully looks, especially in such a short time since her last visit. Honestly… she just keeps getting better and better 🥹

✨ Weight is now up to a very healthy 18.9kgs 👏
✨ C5 vaccination done 💉
✨ Ear infection — CLEAR 🙌

Unfortunately, due to the significant thickening within her ear canals, it is very likely Tully has suffered chronic untreated ear infections for most of her life 😢 This means ongoing management will always be important moving forward, but for now we are thrilled to have the infection under control.

Tully has also started:
💊 3 weeks of antibiotics to clear the infection in her mouth
💊 Meloxicam to help keep her comfortable and pain managed

And now for the BEST NEWS from this visit… 🥁

🎉 TULLY HAS BEEN CLEARED FOR HER DENTAL 🎉
📅 Surgery booked for 27th May

While this is wonderful news, it’s also clear that her dental disease is quite severe. Along with her scale and polish, DOGtor Abby believes a minimum of 3 canine teeth will need extracting, with the possibility of more once full mouth x-rays are completed during surgery.

Unfortunately, this increases Tully’s dental costs by an additional $679.00 from the original quote.

The plan is to remove all of the worst affected teeth during this surgery. However, if Tully is not coping well under anaesthetic, the procedure will be stopped and any remaining work completed during a second surgery at a later date.

Once she has recovered from her dental, we will then focus on having Tully spayed to remove the VERY REAL risk of pyometra, a serious and life-threatening condition in undesexed females.

DOGtor Abby also noted that one of Tully’s tumours appears to have grown slightly. I had sadly noticed the same myself. The positive news is that all tumours still appear to be very slow growing 🙏

Watching this little girl blossom has been one of the greatest privileges. Her joy for life, her cheeky little personality and the love she gives so freely continues to melt hearts every single day 💖

We are completely overwhelmed and honestly struggling to find the words right now 🥹

Thanks to the incredible kindness and generosity of our amazing SupPAWters, Tully’s fundraiser has now moved INTO THE BLACK 💚

Not only have we raised the funds needed for her immediate veterinary care, medications, supplements and upcoming dental surgery… we now have funds available to continue supporting Tully’s ongoing care moving forward 💕
To every single person who donated, shared her story, sent birthday wishes, followed her journey or simply kept her in your thoughts — THANK YOU 🐾
