Puppy training doesn’t have to be formal. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to happen.

A few minutes at home, a handful of treats, plenty of distractions and probably a little bit of chaos 😂

No fancy setup. No perfect heelwork. No pressure. Just making training part of everyday life, building good habits, confidence and connection one little session at a time.

Because with puppies, consistency will always beat perfection

The wait is almost over… and we couldn’t be more excited to announce that Audie & Easy are expecting an all-tri litter!

We are expecting black and red tri puppies due mid September.

This is a pairing we have been eagerly anticipating. Both Audie and Easy are incredibly loving, sweet-natured dogs who absolutely adore their people. They are the kind of dogs who want to be right by your side, and we are expecting their puppies to inherit that wonderful, affectionate nature.

We will have availability in this litter and welcome enquiries for companion, show or performance homes.

As always, our priority is finding the right puppy for the right family, based on temperament, structure, drive and lifestyle.

6 weeks of our Audie x Dasha puppies

Time has just flown by and it’s hard to believe these guys will be off to their new families in just a couple of weeks.

We couldn’t be happier knowing each of these puppies have a wonderful family waiting to welcome them home. Some are going to have some very exciting adventures ahead, and we cannot wait to watch it all unfold.

Ollie wanted to take Reddington for a little stroll around the Ekka before the gates opened and what an adventure they had!

They got to check out the rides, see the sheep, explore the grounds, have a little sit in the stands and enjoy some fun together before the chaos of the day began.

There’s something pretty special about seeing the dogs experience the Ekka when it’s quiet and peaceful before thousands of people arrive.

It's hard to believe our Audie × Dasha litter are already 4 weeks old! They're growing beautifully, their little personalities are starting to shine, and we're loving every minute of watching them explore the world and reach new milestones.

Over the coming weeks we'll continue our assessments, and after their 7-week evaluations we expect to have a couple of boys looking for their forever homes.

At Ochaye Australian Shepherds, every puppy is carefully matched to the right family based on temperament, structure, and lifestyle to give them the very best start in life.

Looking for her new adventure

Ellie is a beautiful 5 month old black tri NBT girl who was originally kept to be shown. After careful consideration, we’ve decided she will be better suited to life as someone’s beloved family pet.

She is:
✔️ Confident with other dogs
✔️ House trained
✔️ Crate trained
✔️ Leash trained
✔️ Knows basic commands

Ellie is affectionate, playful and loves having company. She would suit a home where she can be included in everyday life or has another doggy friend to play with.

Ellie will be at the Ekka on Wednesday the 12th and Friday the 14th, if you’d like to come and meet her or think you can offer her the amazing home she deserves please message us for more information

A big thank you to Justin and Matt for allowing this lovely boy to join our family. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share a puppy from their foundation litter and a son of our boy NATO.

Dobby has settled in beautifully, and we’re looking forward to watching him grow.
