Our special girl who started it all 🤍
A week ago today we said goodbye to our darling Zoe. 💔
You may recognise her as the face of Belloui – Zoe was our foundation Labradoodle. She was also my 15th birthday present, and what an incredible gift she was. 🎁
Although she was meant to be my puppy, there was never any doubt that Mum was her person. She always called Zoe her soul dog ❤️ (and, of course, her Velcro dog).
Earlier this year, Zoe was diagnosed with cancer. Just like Mum, she faced an uncertain prognosis and went on to exceed everyone’s expectations. She responded well to every round of chemotherapy, proving herself to be the exception too, and giving us a few more precious months with her.
Sadly, just weeks before her 15th birthday, her little body couldn’t fight any longer, and we knew it was time to let her go peacefully.
Zoe gave us almost 15 years of unconditional love, loyalty and companionship. She wasn’t just the beginning of Belloui – she was family, and she’ll always be a huge part of our story.
Her legacy lives on in so many of our beautiful Belloui puppies out there, carrying a little piece of the girl who started it all.
It’s comforting knowing now she’s back with the other half of her soul, Mum, and reunited with her best friend Milly. 🤍
Thank you for everything, our little chocolate drop, our beautiful Zo Zo. We’ll love and miss you forever. ❤️
