Teddy popped in for his routine Pentosan injection or as his owners like to call it, his jumping juice! It keeps him feeling like a playful puppy all over again! 🐾💉

His adorable little brother Clancy came along too… not for the treatment, just for the very important job of collecting all the treats 😍

Our hearts melted today when little 8-week-old British Bulldog Lulu waddled in for a nail trim with Nurse Kierra! 🐶💅

🐐 Winter Worm Control for Goats 🐐

🌧️ As the temperatures drop and rain comes, it’s crucial to keep our goat herds healthy by managing worm burdens! Worm infestations in goats are a common problem, particularly when living in wet environments and close confines. It’s common for owners to be unaware of the problem until animals are severely affected and dying. Our goat friends are also very good at sharing their worms between themselves, and with pet sheep who may share their paddocks. 🪱

💩 Faecal Egg Counts (FEC): What are they and why do they matter?
• FEC is a simple test: We check a small sample of your goat’s p**p under the microscope to count worm eggs—giving us a clear picture of the worm burden in your herd.
• Targeted treatment: FEC helps us decide if and when to drench, preventing overuse of wormers and reducing the risk of resistance.
• Monitor effectiveness: Regular testing lets us track how well your worm control program is working and adjust as needed.

We had a baa-rilliant surprise at the clinic on Friday—two adorable baby goats Gary & Frankie!

From their tiny bleats to their wobbly little hops, they kept us smiling all day long. It’s safe to say, our staff had an extra dose of cuteness overload! 🥰

🧡Now is the perfect time to consider sheep health!🧡

💙Nurse Mel is holding senior citizen: Blanche, for her foot trim today. Pet and productive sheep require ongoing maintenance including feet trimming, drenching and vaccination. It’s a great time of year for hobby farms to get these jobs done, before the wet weather sets in. 💙

💛We can help do all these jobs for owners, or set up a preventative health plan and show you how to do it correctly yourself. 💛

You may remember darling Clarence from our post earlier this year. This photo (taken a couple of weeks ago) was a very special day for Clarence, his owners Annie & Tyler, and the team at Moe Vet Centre because it marked the last day of his chemotherapy program 🥳

Clarence underwent quite a few treatments with us, and handled them all so well. He was rewarded with his cancer being pushed into remission, and now gets to enjoy time off treatment with his family. We are thrilled to share Clarence’s story, and his journey from being a sick dog with a very short life expectancy to a happy, healthy boy living his best life months and months later 🐶🩺💙🥳😍
