This handsome Siberian Forest Cat paid us a visit after fracturing his canine tooth. We extracted the sore tooth and gave the rest a good clean, and he recovered beautifully from his anaesthetic. Well done Major Tom! 🐾

When the bosses son’s very well-loved stuffed cat needs emergency surgery! 🚨🆘🧸🩺

Pudding came in today for some emergency “surgery” after suffering a few injuries from too many cuddles and adventures. Lucky Mel was on hand to carefully suture him up!

We’re happy to report the procedure was a success, and Pudding is now recovering comfortably in his e-collar and bandage ready to head back to kinder 💙

Meet Buster the baby goat 🐐☀️

Buster came in to the clinic for dehorning. This reduces the risk of injury to both the goat and their herd as they grow.

Dehorning is done under sedation with pain relief and careful monitoring to keep our little patient as comfortable as possible.

We had the pleasure of looking after Mac in hospital recently.

He came in lethargic and reserved, and by the time he went home he was chatting and trying to climb up his nurse for a smooch 💕

This sweet girl Lucy came in for her desexing procedure weighing in at just 1.9kg!
With her little jumper to keep her warm throughout, she recovered beautifully 🐾

Bailey the Golden Retriever came in feeling quite unwell after chewing a power cord 🔌

We took some radiographs and found he had eaten some of the copper wires from inside the cord. After a productive toilet-walk, repeat X-rays showed the wires had moved through and there was no obstruction present.

With some anti-nausea medication and pain relief we’re pleased to hear he is back to his happy energetic self!

Chop is the happiest girl in her hoodie 🤩

Chop had surgery with us recently and she was very interested in licking her surgery site!

To protect the area and prevent any infection developing, we kept a dressing over the surgery site and she’s rocking her hoodie over the top.

Other options include wearing an Elizabethan collar or a soft inflatable collar to stop pets being able to reach the area. We keep a range of these collars in stock and are happy to discuss the best option for your pet!
