Hi everyone.

I have just checked the weather for next week and it’s going to be a shocker!

We will be closing by 1pm each day as it will be too hot for grooming, even with an aircon.

I will be contacting everyone that is booked in over the weekend to reschedule.

🔥 Heat warning for our area – please keep your pets safe

It’s going to be really hot, and our pets feel it just as much as we do. Some of them cope even worse, especially the squishy-faced breeds, the older ones, and the little ones. A bit of planning can make a big difference for them.

Here are some easy ways to help them stay comfortable:

💛Keep them inside during the worst of the heat
💛Fresh, cool water topped up often (a couple of bowls if you can)
💛Shade outside if they want to wander, and a cool floor inside if possible
💛Avoid hot paths and roads. If you can’t touch the ground comfortably, your dog can’t either
💛Save walks for early morning or later at night
💛Never leave them in the car, even with windows down
💛Keep an eye on panting, wobbliness, vomiting or bright red gums

If something doesn’t look right, get them out of the heat, offer water and contact a vet for advice.
Stay cool and keep giving them the love they deserve. ❤️🐾
