All we want for Christmas is to find our forever family… will it be you? ❤️🐾

The holiday period can actually be a beautiful time to welcome a new furry friend — especially if you’re home more and able to help them settle in.

But remember: pets are NOT gifts.
This time of year, we keep a very close eye on making sure every dog goes to a true forever home — not a “two-month home.”

Today we’re featuring two sweet girls hoping Christmas brings them love and stability:

We Need YOU!

Our team is busier than ever rescuing and rehoming dogs in need — and we’re calling on more amazing humans to join us.

Foster carers:
We provide everything you need. All you do is open your home, offer love, and care for our dogs while they wait for their forever families.

Transport volunteers:
Can you help with morning vet drop-offs, afternoon pick-ups, or kitten runs between our base and pet stores across Melbourne’s west? There are even occasional rural pound pickups for those up for a little adventure.

We are based in Altona Meadows and our vets are located in Melbourne West.

If you have time to spare and a heart for animals, we’d love to have you on the team.
