I was soooo excited to get my brand new incubator home yesterday from Bellsouth, all set up, I thought my luck had finally changed especially after the last nightmare of a hatch I had had! Of my two old rcoms, (around 10 years old) one died so I combined the two to make one functioning one, with over 8 power outages during the incubation period including one where they had to be moved to another house because it was out for so long, we only ended up with 7 chicks hatched... Then today we had a tree down on my powerlines again :( I thought well I'll get my brand new generator set up and low and behold it is defective and doesn't work 😭 My dad came to the rescue and cut the tree from one side of my driveway so we could get though with the car and take my chicks, eggs and incubators to their house till our power is restored. I'm so over all the power outages! I do love my new incubator though!

This is one of my favourite Cream Legbar males with some of his females. His tail is super ratty atm as he was in a bachelor pad before this pen. He's not perfect but I like his comb and he is the perfect gentleman! Looking forward to seeing their offsprings hatch next week.
