TWO tonks needing their own INDIVIDUAL new furever homes.

Teresa from Sydney has shared with me her sad story, and I hope we can find the best solution and outcome for her boys here. šŸ¤žšŸ»

This has been a heartbreaking decision and not a knee jerk reaction. Teresa is wanting to do what’s best for her two beautiful boys. These boys aren’t from our Kiddikatz clan.

ā€œI guess the story could start with this. I have two beautiful male Tonkinese that I am searching for the perfect home individually. They have been together since the beginning. They aren’t particularly bonded. It’s been on and off since I got them.

Kenzo was born 30/4/21. He is Platinum (Lilac) Solid Tonkinese. He is desexed and microchipped. Kenzo is a lovely cuddly boy that loves lap cuddles. He is better off in a quiet home as a solo cat. He needs an outdoor space that has been cat proofed as he is very curious and loves to explore.

We have a busy household with 5 pets in total and I feel that he isn’t able to be himself and enjoy the beautiful tonkinese traits such as sleeping with his human in a warm cuddly bed and in front of the tv as he is over shadowed by the chaos of territorial dogs.

About Nobu….
Nobu was born 17/11/21. He is a Blue Mink Tonkinese. He is desexed and microchipped. Nobu has the most beautiful sweet nature. He is happiest when he is cuddling up to another sweet natured furbaby. He currently lives with another 4 fur babies which unfortunately don’t share the same feelings.

He loves to spend his days outside in a sunny little spot in our safe cat proofed yard. I feel as though both of these gorgeous boys would thrive in a quieter home.
Unfortunately he has to complete with 3 territorial puppies that are also very needy for human attention.

Both of my boys would only go to homes with safe outdoor spaces and loving families.

If you would like to interview please reach out. My best interests for my boys are my only motivation for the search for the perfect home.ā€ - Teresa

Please contact only if you meet the above requirements.

Please go to the link for details of adoption. These tonks are not from my Kiddikatz family, and I don’t have any personal connection to the adoption, just looking out for their best outcomes. šŸ’•

FOR ADOPTION
From the Kiddikatz Monsters Inc litter, Fred and Mabel - aka Sully and Boo.
Please read carefully the comments and recommendations below from Candice. Fred and Mabel are to be rehomed as a duo and aren’t to be separated. They are inside only cats with a secure cat run for outside fun is preferred.

Please note this has been a difficult decision. Contact Candice directly if you would like to be considered as Fred and Mabel’s new family and if you feel you fit the criteria. Thank you. šŸ’•

ā€œWe got Fred and Mabel about 7 years ago and for the first few years, they got all the love and attention a Tonkinese cat rightly deserves. A lap each on front of the TV at night, sleeping on the bed (ok, in the bed!), playing fetch, tummy rubs at every demand, a massaging brush every week, and constant conversation throughout the day. But over the last 4 years, we've had 2 kids, and with no family close by, our kids gradually took over all of our time and energy. Fred and Mabel started showing signs of stress, and more recently with the arrival of our second baby a year ago, this has become increasingly difficult for all of us. At times I've tried to focus on them more, and the tricky behaviours from stress reduced almost immediately but as time goes on, it's not sustainable for us and it's not fair on them. I'm heartbroken in this decision because they feel like an integral part of our family, and like they are and could only ever be 'our' cats; the quirky, over-familiar, curious, loving and gorgeous Fred and Mabel. But, going through our photos tonight has driven home the message that they don't have the life they used to, and they have so much more love and companionship, and entertainment to give (and receive!!!).

We are in no rush because finding the right home is really important. We don't want them separated and they are best in a home with no little kids and probably no other pets - maybe a gentle chilled dog but I'm not sure! They will be ok with people who work full time out of the home as long as the evenings and big chunks of weekends are spent around them. They are on a special diet (Fred had a blocked urethra over a year ago, but the diet and filter water seems to have sorted that out). They are indoor cats but enjoy a supervised and time limited stroll to eat some grass - and best that this is regular otherwise Fred will become very vocal about it! Alternatively, they will be fine to stay indoor cats only as long as they don't know outside is an option! The adjustment will probably be really big for them (and us!) and I'd like to be as helpful as possible in that process so willing to do whatever would support it to be successful. They are best suited to cat lovers especially given these are not your typical domestic cats - they will nuzzle their way into your bed and into your heart. We would love to be able to still keep in touch to know how they are going, if possible. Feel free to contact me on 0401 807 037 or [email protected]. Thank you, Candiceā€
