Festive Pet Safety Advisory | Anivet Care

As celebrations continue, we would like to proactively flag a critical pet safety reminder. Several common festive foods and drinks pose serious, potentially life-threatening risks to pets if consumed—whether accidentally or intentionally.

Items such as chocolate, alcohol, macadamia nuts, cooked bones, nutmeg, xylitol, uncooked yeast dough, grapes, and raisins can rapidly lead to toxicity, internal injury, or organ failure.

Action Required
• Keep all festive foods securely out of reach of pets.
• Do not offer “small tastes” or leftovers.
• If ingestion is suspected, do not delay.

Urgent Care Protocol
