Over the weekend we did a 3 sheep dog trial. We did a partener paddock and yard ( i did tgr yard section) which i now realise we had no idea how to draft sheep 🤪 even the judge had a laugh at me despits that we got through it within our time limit. Then did a level 2 where i sheep running around everywhere and Sophie was overheating trying to get them back on course.
Next day we did level 2 again, with a much more controled run and placed 3rd. Super proud of Sophie.
We then had our first attemp ever at the Advanced level. Was very nervous, but Sophie was just awesome and we placed 3rd. Best comment from the judge “you looked like you belonged out there” super proud of Sophie

My water loving Cody only had eyes for swimming in that water 😝
Great sport. Highly recommend learning it with your dog. For me personally, so much better than just obedience 🐑

3sheep trial over the weekend. Awesome seeing puppies out and about seeing the livestock to the older pups at 10years helping move the sheep around in the pens.
