A little shop update! 🐟🔨

16 more tanks have now been added to the shop! 🙌 4 more to come on the first rack.

Monday was a very busy day and definitely tested out the old back.

They’re definitely not pretty… yet 👀 — they still need a good clean, a bit of work and then the fun part… getting them set up and stocked!

I thought I’d start filming the progress so you can follow along and see how this section of the shop comes together from dirty empty tanks to finished displays full of fish 🐠🌿

Also a shout out to the guys who help me make the shop look decent with tanks and racks, It’s always much appreciated!

📌 Care info: Best kept in a spacious aquarium of 300L+ (larger is better for groups). They thrive in soft to moderately hard water (pH 6.0–7.5) with warm tropical temperatures around 26–30°C. Like other eartheaters, they appreciate a soft sandy substrate for natural foraging behaviour. Generally peaceful for a cichlid, they do best with similarly sized, non-aggressive South American species such as larger tetras, peaceful catfish, and other Geophagus in groups.
