Unfortunately I’ve run out of females to pair with this bloke but he’s a very nice specimen, always catches my eye when I go in the pen.

He has good mahogany on his chest feathers and will shape up into an overall nice bird, he would be an asset to anyone wanting to breed splash Wyandottes.

He’s currently listed on APPAP

A young Blue laced Red and Splash laced red trio we’ve also got on offer on A.P.P.A.P

Both pullets have lovely types and have started laying and the cockerel has lovely red through the hackles and will shape up into a very nice bird, just like his father.

They’ll make someone a good breeding team.

It’s been rather wet out our way lately, i feel sorry for the chooks as the pens are a bit of a muddy mess so I decided i’d let the Splash Wyandottes in to the pen next door for a bit of fresh pick and scraps. 🥰

I had a lovely day out at the Wyandotte club of Queensland annual show. There were some lovely fowl on display and the bacon and egg breakfast rolls were delicious!

Can’t wait to show some of my birds at the next years show 😁

I spent awhile looking over my birds yesterday, trying to pick the best breeding teams.

Theres a lot to like about this pullet, she has nice type, wing set, tail angle, lacing, width of body, lovely open tail, comb and leg colour, however she unfortunately has the wrong eye colour 😞.

She won’t be going anywhere near the breeding pens but she will still make a pretty egg layer though 🍳

These photos were from the 2023 breeding season, it was the best pullet hatch i’ve ever had. 2024 was mostly a cockerel hatch.

🤞🏼 i hope 2025 breeding season results in another pullet hatch 🤞🏼 i’d love to see some more quality Splash females like this running around in the pens again.

One of our handsome BLR males. I’ve always been fond of his type and width and boy oh boy he really puts fantastic type into his daughters.

The only fault i can pick about him is his eyes, they were red/bay in colour as a younger bird but have changed colour over time which is unfortunate, something to monitor in his offspring.

There’s too many things that I like about this bird so he’ll stay for another year.

One of the pullets we bred back in 2023, she came 2nd to her sister in the Lismore Young Bird Show in 2024. I always liked the amount of thigh lacing on this particular girl.
