Hi everyone. We have had a bit of a time trying to keep the pool up to temperature the last week or so. We have dropped from a pretty consistent 28 to 29 degrees to 24 to 25 degrees. This has been due to a couple of factors including the power going off at night with the power company doing some night work and the stupidly cold days making our two $12000 each heat pump heaters go into anti frost and only heat half the time. And of course there is not enough sun to have the solar heater working either. The issue now that the night works have finished I don't know how long it's going to take the heaters to get the temperature back up. The heaters run 24/7 in winter time and do a pretty good job of keeping the temp sustained were we want it but I've never had to try and get the temp back up from 24 to 28, so I'm not sure how long it will take. Anyone who wants to cancel is more than welcome to and those that are happy to brave the cooler water temperature are welcome to swim.
