Today, we need you to know that:

This puppa was brought in this afternoon after being found at Gracemere. This is the first time he's visited our clinic and his microchip details aren't up to date so we would appreciate your help as we try to reunite him with his owners 🐾

UPDATE 2: The owner has been found! Thank you everyone for sharing and helping - we love being part of such a great community!

UPDATE: The RSPCA has picked him up and is continuing his care. Please call 07 3637 0040 if he is yours ❤️

🚨🚨 URGENT 🚨🚨

This entire male cat has been brought in to us. He isn't microchipped but we urgently need to contact his owner as he is receiving veterinary attention. If you own him, please call CQ Animal Emergency on 07 4863 6515.

Thanks for your message! We recommended calling because it’s the most direct way to reach us during our operating hours, and also provides an alternative way to reach us outside of our operating hours. For our patients that are injured, we transfer them to the RSPCA when we close, so they can continue to get the care that they need ❤️ The RSPCA is expecting your call - please contact them on 07 3637 0040 ❤️

Behind every sick pet is a veterinary professional who gives it their all: emotionally, physically and mentally. Dr Kellie (pictured) in particular has been working hard the last 5 months to bring a much needed service to the region, but realised today that she needs to look after herself, so she can continue to do so. ❤️‍🩹💪 She wants to thank the clinic's rapidly expanding team who is stepping up to support her and would like to introduce Dr Xin, an emergency veterinarian, who'll be helping out next week. 🧡💛 She knows Dr Xin will honour the excellent standard of care that the clinic is known for and wants to thank the community for their support and understanding during this time.

Our clinic will be transitioning to a new practice management software over the next couple of weeks, to better meet our patients' and referring vets' needs.

Our administration processes may be a little slower during this time but rest assured, your pets will still receive the same level of amazing care from our team.

Thank you again for your patience as we take steps to make our hospital an even better place for the animals of Central Queensland.
