Yesterday was a very sad day at Full Circle. We had to say goodbye to our beautiful little Butterfly. She had been sick for a few weeks, and our vets did everything they knew how and consulted with vets all around the country, but no one had the answers to save our girl. It came down to take her to Sydney for exploratory surgery where the vets were "guarded" about there being a positive outcome or let her go. We decided we could not put her through anymore. Butterfly was our only truly pet goat, all our other goats have a job but not Butterfly, her job was to be a princess, and demand treats since having a c section last year. She did have a few good days and was able to attend our vet's open day, so she had one last hurrah at being everyone favorite and being the princess. A big thank you to the vets and all the team at Gowrie Veterinary Clinic for doing everything you could for Butterfly. I promise I will get back to posting happy things and baby spam soon.
