𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬

Pony Club Victoria is excited to announce the qualifying criteria for the 2027 Pony Club Victoria State Dressage and Showjumping Championships, with two significant changes creating more opportunities for riders to compete at State level.

1) 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖
From 2027, both the State Dressage and State Showjumping Championships are open to all riders who meet the relevant qualifying criteria.

This is an exciting change for PCV and means that riders who achieve the required qualifying performances will be eligible to compete at State Championships, providing more members with the opportunity to experience competition at the highest level of Pony Club Victoria competition.

2) 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
The 2027 State Championships will also introduce a Masters section in all grades.

The Masters section will be open to members over the age of 25 years.

This exciting addition recognises the continued participation and commitment of our adult riders and provides Masters riders with the opportunity to compete for State Championship honours in their own section.

Arenas are all set and ready to go... we have kept a large area to warm up on the sand for the next competitor in each ring. Please only present here before your test. Plenty of warm up on oval before hand.

Presentations for Grades Advanced, 1, 2, 4 and Lead Line will be at 1pm.
Grades 3, 5 and 6 will be at the completion of all events.
We have fabulous prizes and wonderful sponsors to thank.

We are still extremely low on helpers with only 15 of 78 riders putting their hand up. Please go to our sign up and pick a job around your riding time. Thankyou Kergunyah Pony Club, you have a great bunch of helpers.
