Hi All

I’m a terrible procrastinator and I’ve been procrastinating all day about a Christmas post.

I have this horse ceramic at home which comes with a story. When I was growing up I would visit my Grandparents in their home in the tiny Sussex village of Danehill. My Grandmother was a passionate horse owner and it was her who kicked off my lifetime obsession. She had a sizeable collection of horse books and artwork including this ceramic which was handed down to me when she died. I have always loved him, you can imagine him hunkering down to weather the storm. He reminds me of the amazing resilience of these animals and how much they give to us every single day.

Hi All,

I was recently conditioning some leather with a saddle balm that frankly didn’t smell that great so I decided to make some that does 😁

This smells like Jersey Caramels!😋
It’s locally sourced beeswax, pure sweet almond and coconut oil with a few drops of vanilla caramel fragrance oil. No nasties just pure skin loving ingredients and leather is a skin after all!

Who would like some? $16.50 per tin plus postage. If not guess what all my friends are getting for Christmas 🤣🤣

Shout out to all Equestrian professionals whether you are a saddle fitter, body worker, farrier or vet on the road seeing horses and doing your very best despite all the variables life throws at you.

Take some time for you this weekend if you can. Hang out with your own horse and bury your nose in his beautiful mane, do something frivolous like go out to lunch with your nearest and dearest or just put your feet up and watch that series you keep meaning to have time to watch.

You deserve a well earned break and the horses will understand.

I will be hanging out with these gorgeous creatures.
