This course is designed for everyday dog owners who want real results in the real world. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to strengthen existing skills, we’ll meet you and your dog where you’re at and work at a pace that suits you.

Throughout the course, we’ll cover:

✅ Building a stronger connection with your dog
✅ Creating engagement and focus around distractions
✅ Developing a bigger bond and better communication
✅ Basic obedience foundations
✅ Impulse control and calm decision-making
✅ Lead skills and real-world manners

🐾☀️ THURSDAY DOGGY DAYCARE ☀️🐾

Today was all about our big boofhead crew! 🤪🐶

The rough-and-tumble squad came ready for action, and the day quickly turned into what can only be described as a WWE wrestling event for dogs! 💪😂 There was plenty of friendly wrestling, chasing games, toy hunts, and of course, lots of fetch.

After burning through some energy, everyone enjoyed a well-earned midday nap before perking back up for one final zoomie-filled run in the sunshine. ☀️🐾

The toys got a serious workout today, with most of the crew giving them a very enthusiastic chase. Meanwhile, Kāne decided he’d rather hang out with me and supervise the chaos from the sidelines. I think he may have been a little knackered after all the excitement! 😂❤️

It was wonderful to see all the dogs happy, relaxed, and enjoying themselves. Lots of play, lots of smiles, and plenty of sunshine made for another fantastic daycare day. 🐶☀️

We can’t wait to do it all again next week! 🐾💕

🐾☀️ Wednesday Doggy Daycare ☀️🐾

Our small Wednesday group had a fantastic day enjoying the beautiful weather! 🐶💛

We spent the day playing fetch, chasing our friends around the yard, and making the most of the sunshine with plenty of sunbaking sessions. ☀️🎾

There were lots of wagging tails, happy faces, and plenty of fun had by everyone. After a busy morning of play, some of our pups were more than happy to relax and soak up the warm rays with their friends. 🐕🌞

Everyone enjoyed their day, and we loved seeing all the different personalities shine through. We can’t wait to do it all again next week! 🐾💕

🐾☀️ Tuesday Doggy Daycare ☀️🐾

What a fantastic Tuesday we had at daycare! We had a full group of happy pups ready for a day of fun, enrichment, and social time. 🐶❤️

The dogs had a great time enjoying some of our new toys, with plenty of games of tug and fetch keeping everyone entertained. There was lots of running, playing, and making the most of the beautiful weather.

Of course, not everyone wanted to be on the go all day! Some of our pups were more than happy to relax, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy a spot of sunbaking with their friends. ☀️🐾

A little confession from me—I’m a day late posting the photos! 😂 But as they say, better late than never. The dogs had an amazing day, and I couldn’t resist sharing these happy faces with you all.

🐾✨ GROUP TRAINING SUCCESS ✨🐾

This afternoon’s group session was a fantastic start for all of our pups and their owners! 🐶💙

We had a few nervous pups who initially weren’t interested in food rewards, which is completely normal in a new environment. Rather than pushing them beyond their comfort zone, we allowed them the time and space to observe, take everything in, and become familiar with their surroundings. Meanwhile, their owners were equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to begin building strong foundations at home, where their dogs feel most comfortable and confident.

As the session progressed, some of our nervous pups began to settle and join in, which was wonderful to see! 🌟

Today we introduced:
✔️ Our “YES” marker
✔️ Name recognition
✔️ Sit
✔️ Lay Down

Every pup worked at their own pace, and each one put in 110% effort. We are incredibly proud of the progress made in just one session and can’t wait to see everyone’s confidence continue to grow over the coming weeks.

🐾✨ Malley’s Training Session Today ✨🐾

Malley was our last private session for the day, and she absolutely smashed it! 👏🐶

Today we focused on impulse control, while also revisiting some of the skills and exercises from previous lessons. Malley’s obedience is fantastic, and she has a great understanding of her commands. The next step in her training journey is strengthening her connection and engagement with Mum so that she is motivated to work with her no matter what environment they are in.

To help achieve this, we introduced some new training methods designed to build a stronger relationship and make Mum the most rewarding and valuable thing in Malley’s world. When dogs are truly connected to their handler, they are far more likely to choose them over distractions and happily respond to cues in public settings.

Both Malley and her Mum embraced the new exercises and put in a fantastic effort throughout the session. It was great to see them working together as a team and making positive progress towards their goals.

Well done, Malley and Mum! We’re excited to see this partnership continue to grow. 🐾❤️👏

🐾✨ Tilly’s Training Session ✨🐾

Today, Tilly worked on some important life skills, focusing on her jumping and barking habits, as well as learning a door threshold to help prevent her from rushing straight out the door.

A big part of today’s session was introducing a new routine of behaviours for Tilly to perform instead of barking. By giving her clear guidance on what to do rather than simply correcting unwanted behaviours, we’re helping her develop calmer and more appropriate responses in everyday situations.

We also began teaching her that doors are not an invitation to charge outside. Through consistency and patience, Tilly is learning to wait for permission and make better choices around entryways.

Tilly did an excellent job today! 🌟 She showed great willingness to learn, and her owners now have the tools and structure to continue building these new habits at home. I’m excited to see her progress over the coming weeks.

🐾 Tex’s Training Session Today 🐾

Tex was back for another great training session today and put in some fantastic work! 👏🐶

From our first session I saw a great difference in his behaviour and increase in his focus and connection with his mum. This is fantastic to see the effort being put in and the results showing.

Today we focused on:
✔️ Impulse Control
✔️ Lead Work
✔️ Wait Command
✔️ Reactivity Training
✔️ Tah command (release)

One of the most important parts of training is setting dogs up for success, and that’s exactly what we did with Tex today. Rather than expecting perfection straight away, we structured the session around his needs and energy levels.

We started the lesson with activities that allowed Tex to use some of his energy and engage with training in a positive way. As he settled into the session, we finished with lead work, giving him the best chance to focus and make good decisions. By working with Tex instead of against him, we were able to create an environment where he could succeed.

Through patience, persistence, and consistency, we rewarded the choices we wanted to see more of. When Tex made good decisions, he earned praise and rewards. Any undesirable choices were simply ignored, helping him learn which behaviours bring positive outcomes and which ones don’t.

We also got the chance to introduce one of the brand-new training toys I recently purchased, and it’s safe to say Tex was a huge fan! 😍 The toy definitely passed the Tex test—although after all the excitement and enthusiasm, it only suffered one broken stitch! 😂

Tex continues to make great progress, and it’s been fantastic to watch his confidence, focus, and engagement grow with each session. Well done, Tex! 🐾❤️
