May and June were busy busy!
Taking a moment to reflect on a couple of the events.

Acresafe Swan River Dressage on the 10th of May saw Indi and Locky do their first Novice dressage test. Novice 2.1 sponsored by Anna Latto Equestrian. It was really exciting for her and she and Locky did a great job of it even with all the nerves! Its not easy when you and your little 11h pony are in a class with all the big Warmbloods and adults that is for sure. What was so encouraging was the judge coming up to Indi after she finished and gave her lots of encouragement and told her how much he loved the test and their partnership. That was super kind and little things like that make a massive difference to a young rider, so I have to say I was really really appreciative of Kai Schuler doing that. He also nominated Indi for a prize in that class for judges award... Wow, just so cool and what a way to encourage a young kid to keep going. What a super gesture.

Renzo did a good job in the Advanced 5.1 sponsored by Drive Straight Drive Straight Heavy Vehicle Repair, Brakes and all Underbody Maintenance & AcreSafe 5.2. Thanks to both for their sponsorship of the class.

Back again on 7th June for the Acresafe Swan river dressage
Indi had another go at a novice test. This time in the Delamarie Equestrian 2.2. She did a great job even cracking 60% which was awesome..

Renzo placed in the AcreSafe Advanced 5.2 and he was feeling like little bits are getting more established at this level.

International Dressage coach coming to Perth - Lessons Available with Sally Lofting.

Sally lofting – this is a great opportunity to have a lesson with an international Grand Prix dressage rider who has competed on the international stage.

Based in Pennsylvania USA, Sally has competed 3 times for Australia in nations cup USA Wellington. Sally is also a bronze medallist in the individual championships nations cup 2022 and has competed at 4 star level eventing.

Whether you have a young horse you want to get some guidance with, or your seasoned competition mount, Sally is happy to teach riders and horses of all levels.

Chase , Indi, Isla & Beth from Swan Valley Horse and pony club bringing home 2nd place in the state Tetrathlon championships on the weekend. So much fun !
This is a great sport for something a bit different.

Indi and her heart horse 🥰

LOYAL LOCKY 💙 Nine-year-old Indi, from Swan Valley Horse and Pony Club, WA, has been riding her lovable Shetland x Welsh pony, Locky, since she was just four. Her mum, Jen, says they are the very best of friends!

"With Locky as her bestie, Indi has grown in confidence so much and is now jumping up to 60cm in jumping and novice dressage.

Locky is such a cool dude, he takes everything in his stride and is very cool calm and collected.

They are thinking of having a go at the national pony races when it comes to Perth this year."

Well we’ve had a busy weekend with riding lessons back in full swing after our lovely Christmas break. So lovely seeing many of our clients back out here and getting back in the saddle.
Indi and Locky were very excited to put on their new matchy matchy set and try it out. Super cute 🥰.
Well after hitting 45 degrees today we will be sticking to morning lessons only for as long as we can to avoid these scorching temps 🥵

Last week we closed off the year with a fabulous kids fun day. Such a super bunch of kids and so much fun had by all.
We are now closed for a few weeks to give all the horses a well earned rest.
Look forward to seeing all our friends again when we kick off later in January.
