Meet Archie 🐾

This gorgeous little guy has been coming to us for regular hydrotherapy sessions for most of this year after having surgery for InterVertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) just before Christmas last year 🏊‍♂️

Archie has made good progress although his recovery has taken a little longer than we hoped, he is now back to living an active life at home and being spoiled by his dedicated family 🏡

Archie is never short of things to say when he comes for his sessions and absolutely loves his snacks 😋

We hope that Archie will keep recovering and will eventually grow his hair back and that he continues to live his best life possible with the support of his loving family 🤗

Wadevet work closely with Canine Therapies Warrnambool and we are lucky enough to hire Shannon's awesome facility once a month for our canine ABM consults. We also take the opportunity to review cases and learn together. Last week Shannon managed to attract a helper while reviewing the anatomy text for me during consult. Good helping Buffy!

Meet Paddy 🐾 (video #2 with full portrait shots, not cut off like video #1)

This gorgeous boy with the crazy expressive ears has just completed his rehabilitation program after breaking his stopper bone racing earlier this year. With his front right limb in a cast for weeks, Paddy lost a lot of strength and mobility in his carpal joint and needed weekly hydrotherapy sessions for a few months to slowly build up his muscles and improve flexibility and range of motion throught the limb 💪

We're pleased to announce that Paddy has made a full recovery and has started building up his fitness even more at home on his very own treadmill and sand run. Many of you might remember Concrete Comedy, another gorgeous greyhound treated at our facility after he injured his hock who continues to live a happy, carefree and spoilt retirement with his dedicated family, well Paddy also belongs to this very same family of greyhound lovers 🤗

We wish you all the best going forward Paddy and look forward to hearing updates of your progress 🐕

Happiest of birthdays to Charly🎈🎉

This dear girl has been coming to us for regular hydrotherapy and laser therapy sessions since the start of 2023! While we were able to keep her somewhat mobile and definitely comfortable and happy for the past 2 years, sadly, we are losing the battle to a progressive condition and age. Charly has now become fully paralysed but this hasn't dampened her spirit or our fight to keep her limbs mobile and her body as comfortable as possible. She enjoys regular outings in her pram with sister Tiny walking alongside and sharing her amazing mum's bed each night as well as long, deep sleeps on the grass in the sunshine 🌞

We are under no illusion that life is definitely getting harder for Charly and her dedicated mum, but we're here to support them every step of the way and keep Charly smiling and loving life for as long as possible. And we think this deserves a big celebration for her 11th birthday 🎈🍭🎊🎉

Happiest of birthdays dear Charly girl and we look forward to seeing you for your next shark swim 🧜‍♀️
