Yesterday we said goodbye to Tess. She was more than just a dog. She was our shadow and calm when life needed a snuggle. Tess’s legacy will live on in the families who still love her babies.

She chased every ball like it was her life’s mission, crunched apples with such delight it made us laugh and growl every time, and leaned into every kiss between the eyes like she truly understood how much she was loved. She did. And she loved us back — fiercely, unconditionally, and with that beautiful Labrador heart that never runs out of affection.

She was never far from her best friend Georgie, two souls who found comfort and play in each other, partners in every mischief and moment of calm. We’ll always remember them side by side — a bond as deep as any we’ve known.

Thank you, sweet girl, for every moment. For the muddy paws, the wagging tail, the apple-core messes, the comfort on the couch, the love that filled our home.

You were our good girl. The best girl. And we will love you forever.

Run free now — there are balls to chase and apples in the wind. We miss you already. ❤️❤️
