The Story Behind Our Logo 🖤

Our logo is more than just a design — it represents the heart behind Aroha Collar Co.

The dog and cat reflect our love for animals, while the heart was inspired by my daughter and represents the love, connection, and purpose that this business was built on.

Aroha means love, compassion, and connection. As a proud Māori-owned business, we wanted our brand to reflect those values while creating quality products for the pets that are part of our whānau.

This journey started with a simple idea and a passion for animals. Today, we’re building something meaningful together as a family, and we’re grateful to have you along for the journey.

The mahi doesn’t stop. 💪🏽

Designing, creating, marketing, packing orders, being a single dad, juggling another business, and recovering from surgery is definitely not for the faint-hearted.

Starting a small business is an emotional rollercoaster. I think every business owner can agree — there are highs, lows, doubts, wins, and lessons every step of the way.
