🤯🐶 Dog fact you probably didn’t know!
See that little line between your dog’s nose and top lip? 👃✨
It’s called the philtrum (or “vegetal groove”) — and it’s there for a reason!

Every time your dog licks their lips, a tiny bit of saliva gets trapped in that groove. Thanks to a process called capillarization, the moisture travels up to their nose… keeping it perfectly damp. 💧

Why does that matter? 👉 Because a wet nose is WAY better at grabbing and holding onto scents from the air. 🌬️
That’s part of what makes your dog’s sense of smell up to 100,000x stronger than ours! 🐾

None of us ever plan to have an accident or become unwell, so the need for someone to quickly step in and look after a pet can take us by surprise.

We've had Pet Owner customers who have been a victim of domestic violence, with a newly acquired, permanent brain injury, trying to navigate a new norm of trying to walk again rehabilitation and surgery.

We've had Pet Owners seeking mental health treatment in institutions without much notice & no local family network.

We've had Non-verbal Pet Owners without much life left to live and low motor skills who need support and assistance.

We are glad we put quality safeguards, police checks, and training in place, because it means that Pet Owners can focus on their health without worrying about who they've given access to their homes & whether they can be relied on.
