MEET NIC 🐾💜

Nic is one of our wonderful Daycare Attendants and a familiar face around Pawfect Paws!

Her favourite part of the job is seeing the dogs enjoy themselves, especially during the warmer months when the pools come out and the water-loving pups dive straight into the fun. Watching their personalities shine and seeing them have the best day ever is what makes the job so rewarding.

When it comes to dog energy, Nic says she’s definitely a Dachshund 🤭 happiest curled up under a blanket and enjoying a cosy day in. 🐶💤

Outside of work, Nic loves spending time at the stables she used to work at, catching up with the horses and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Whether she’s surrounded by dogs or horses, it’s safe to say animals have always been a huge part of her life. 💕

We’re lucky to have Nic as part of the Pawfect Paws family! Be sure to say hi next time you see her around daycare. 👋🐾

What a day! ☀️🐾 The sunshine was out, the zoomies were in full force, and our daycare crew made the most of every minute. From playful chases and wrestling matches to plenty of socialising with friends, there was never a dull moment around the yards today. We loved seeing so many happy faces soaking up the fresh air, stretching their legs, and burning off some energy before heading home for a well-earned snooze! 💜🐶

🐾 Daycare Pup of the Week – Harry 🐾

Harry is usually a happy, confident member of the daycare crew, but one thing he’s been working hard on is staying settled when his friends head home for the day. This week, Harry showed fantastic progress, handling those moments with much more confidence and self-control. Watching him rein in the whines and settle himself more quickly has been a huge win, and we’re so proud of how far he’s come. Keep up the amazing work, Harry! 💜🐾

🚐 Cruising Pup of the Week – Dusty 🚐

Dusty has been cruising with us since 2023 and has always preferred the company of her cruise humans over other dogs. A feisty little firecracker, she’s happiest playing fetch and doing her own thing. This week, however, Dusty surprised everyone by choosing to engage and play with another dog during her cruise! It may seem like a small moment, but for Dusty it was a huge milestone, and one that had the whole team smiling. We loved seeing this side of you, Dusty! 💜

✂️ Grooming Pup of the Week – Miney ✂️

Tiny but mighty, Miney stole our hearts during her very first visit to grooming. 💜 Despite it all being brand new, she took the bath, dryer, and grooming process in her stride and showed incredible bravery from start to finish. Add in that adorable little tongue that never seems to stay inside her mouth, and it’s impossible not to fall in love with her. Well done, sweet girl!
