Do your chooks like eating wheat?

🌾Wheat 🌾is one of the four grains in our Layer Mash and is over 60% of the Duck and Geese Pellet and over 50% of the Breeder Pellet!

Feeding whole wheat to chickens can improve their digestive tracts, increasing the birds’ ability to resist coccidiosis challenge.👍👍

A protein meal that makes up part of the pellet in our layer mash as well as one of the four grains that makes up the complete ration is Canola!
(That little black seed that isn't dirt or a bug 😁)

Canola Meal contains between 36% and 39% crude protein. This helps us bring our total overall protein percentage to over 15%!
One study of feeding canola seeds to laying hens concluded that feeding canola seeds holds the potential to reduce carbon intensity of egg production without adverse impacts on profitability or egg quality. ✅🗺
