We welcome to our list of Approved Coaches, Claire Walker.

Residing in the beautiful Longford area, Claire is a much loved and respected coach.

As a coach, Claire likes to focus on getting to know the horse and rider. Focusing on individual strengths and weaknesses, but just as importantly supporting the journey that the combination are on. These journeys are personal with no time frame attached.

While Claire has a strong focus towards the discipline of showjumping, she draws her experience from all areas in not just jumping but showing, eventing, dressage and breeding, providing a holistic approach to all that train with her at Wentworth Equestrain.

Last Friday our OTT representative Amanda tootled up the highway to the Campbell Town Show to support the Off The Track Classes. Such a nice community show, and people and judges.
Well done to all the competitors, it was a nice atmosphere and it was good to see both seasoned and green horses out making the most of the opportunity.

Tasracing Off the Track Full Circle Program is about giving retired racehorses a safety net for life.

The program allows owners, breeders and trainers to register as a contact for their horse, helping Off The Track Tasmania reconnect with the right people if that horse ever needs support later in life.

It’s another way we can work together to support retired racehorses beyond the track and recognise the ongoing care and connection so many people have with their horses.

Agfest is back, and so are we 🌾

From 7–9 May, Tasracing is heading to Agfest with plenty happening across the three days. Come and meet our friendly Greyhounds As Pets crew from 10am–2pm daily, catch OTT horse demonstrations, and chat with the team about life beyond racing and careers in the industry.

What’s on:
• Thursday: Hunt Club demo (8:30am) + Mini Trots (12pm)
• Friday: Hunt Club demo (9am) + Showjumping (10am)
• Saturday: Mechanical horse (2pm–4pm)
