Arcadia Pony Club Inc. and Dural Pony Club are very excited to offer this cross country clinic to our riders. 🤩

Holly Anderson Eventing is a 3* Eventer specialising in high performance training of young and upcoming horses and riders. She is an Equestrian Australia Coach, coaching in the Northern Suburbs of Sydney and competing throughout Australia.

Holly spent her early years riding at Forest Hills Pony Club competing successfully in Zone 23, State and National events with her forward, talented pony that she trained successfully herself. This has given her an opportunity to understand complex training and help other young pony club riders be the best they can be.

Holly is a sensitive and considered coach recognising that different horses and riders have different learning styles and training is not a one size fits all. She is able to personalise her coaching to meet the rider where they are at in their own journey.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰
✅ 1.5 hour session with groups of 4-5 riders allocated by XC grade.
✅ Clinic numbers are capped to 20

NB. NO FEE for APC and DPC 2026 riding members.

𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀
In addition to the clinic, APC and DPC will also be running the following rally day sessions delivered by our instructors:
✅ Show Riding and Gymkhana preparation for those planning on attending the Hawkesbury Show Pony Club ring on Friday 24th April 2026.
✅ Sporting practice for Dural Pony Club's open fun day on 17 May
✅ An introduction to cross country riding (poles on the ground) and a trail ride around the Dural Pony Club grounds for those who want to experience cross country without having to do the bigger jumps.

This is a great opportunity for our new riders, on lead riders, or those with young or inexperienced horses.

Yes! Riders get to miss school to compete for our pony club! Woo hoo! It's a great day out and we usually have a strong contingent at the event. The benefit of this event is the Beginner and Transitional Ring as well as Open Rings so everyone gets to compete at their own age and skill level. After the success of our 2025 'in arena cross country' event, Arcadia Pony Club is excited to offer riders the opportunity to compete again in this unique event on Sunday 31 May with two practice clinics on Sunday, 15 March and again on Sunday 17 May. WOW!

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱? 🤔
All PCA riders and EA riders are welcome to come along and be challenged by both show jumps and derby cross country fences such as brush, brick wall, barrels in a practice event.

Your entry includes two full jump rounds plus you can attend a second session from Arcadia Pony Club rally day as well, which will be on flatwork and horsemanship supporting PCA Certificate work. It's all about a fun day out with your horse and your friends.

We are also offering the opportunity for Pony Club Australia 2026 riding members to be graded up to B grade. Please note this on your entry.

Gemma Tinney is a 28yo Australian 5* event rider who has previously represented Australia in her sport of Eventing. Her main drive is producing young horses into Olympic/top level competition horses which she has successfully done in the past.

While also having ambitions to compete at the Olympic Games Gemma is a dedicated coach, she loves sharing her knowledge to others. She has been based in the UK for 2 years and has gone up and learnt from the best of the best. Gemma continues to build her elite performance program both in the Saddle and as a mentor.

Thank you so much to Katie from KK Equestrian for your amazing sessions at our show riding clinic. All of our riders benefited so much from your extensive knowledge and experience and are looking forward to putting their skills into practice this weekend at the Zone 26 Pony Club gymkhana. We were so lucky to have Katie deliver the clinic, Katie is a well-known, local Arcadian trainer with exceptional domestic and international results in training both horses and riders to the highest levels in dressage and show riding. Katie's teaching style focuses on horse welfare whilst creating the best performance outcomes for horse and rider. Her style is considered and collaborative and she always has the best feedback from her riders. 🥰

Our riders also enjoyed fabulous sessions with our APC instructor Anne on dressage protocol session which allowed riders to ride elements of their dressage tests and receive feedback. This assisted our riders to understand the language used by judges and what they are looking for, to assist with competition preparation. 🤩

Plus, APC instructor Alison provided lots of helpful tips and support to nervous ponies and horses in the sporting session to get them used to the noise, the stopping and starting and the variations in the different classes and obstacles. ☺️

We have Gemma Tinney of Gemma Tinney Eventing coming to coach at our show jumping and cross country clinic on Sunday 15 March. Gemma is a previous riding member of Arcadia Pony Club Inc. and we are so grateful she continues to support our riders and our Club!

Tickets for the clinic includes two jump rounds with Gemma in a combination of both show jumoping and cross country jumops PLUS sessions on flatwork and horsemanship with our APC instructors. This is all in preparation for the Arcadia Pony Club Hickstead Derby Event that we are running on Sunday 31 May.
