✨ Health Testing Day at SASH ✨
Today several of our future program dogs completed their final rounds of health testing at SASH, and we’re thrilled to share a little highlight from the day.

Meet Zena — we have been super excited about her entry into our program and are thrilled to introduce her! Zena is a gorgeous blue Merle purebred mini Poodle (10kg) who we bred by Suzie & Arlo, and we are excited to introduce her as part of our 2026 Mini Groodle Program.

She will be part of offering true size Mini Groodles that have excellent temperaments, health, coat qualities and overall genetic soundness.

Zena has now officially passed our full suite of health assessments including:

Meet Stella, our calm and playful medium Groodle girl from Suzie & Rufus, raised right here inside our family home in Sydney’s Hills District. 🐾

Her parents are fully health tested, and she is expected to mature around 20–25kg and 52–58cm with a beautiful low-shed coat.

We originally planned to retain both Stella and her sister from our Sundown litter. Stella’s striking white markings — four white paws, white chest and a sweet white tail tip are truly special. 🥰🐾 However, her sister carries red based coat genetics suited to our future program, so Stella is now available to the best of pet homes, with absolutely no fault on her own.

She has begun her early obedience foundations, and is highly trainable and willing to please. She has also passed all her health vet checks, having received two of her puppy vaccinations, and goes home with our comprehensive puppy pack, Trupanion cover, and Puppy Health Guarantee. Visitation is welcome, and we can also offer experience in coordinating safe interstate travel with Departure Pets.

A battle cry to the public.

So many breeders are selling puppies way below the price should be to get quality care and pedigree/lines.

Please understand that if that is all that is supported you are putting all of our dogs at risk. Responsible and ethical breeders cannot stay in business and hold the standards that our dogs deserve.

From careful selection of parents, health testing, veterinary care, quality nutrition, puppy curriculum, puppy evaluations, and on and on.

I am seeing ethical and responsible breeders pausing left and right and what I need you to know is that if all of our GOOD breeders are reducing our litters and or stopping breeding altogether (we will not breed to any other standard other than of excellence) then what will be left of our dogs? Our lines?

I need this message to be heard LOUD AND CLEAR. Our dogs are at risk. I know the economy is crappy. We are all feeling that, but please save, be patient, and research before getting a dog at a price that is "too good to be true".

I am watching this all unfold before my eyes and I need your help!

Please protect all of our ethical breeders.

Buy responsibly.

Our dogs deserve it.

Our ethical breeders are the ones we want to protect, preserve, and create the healing power of the dog. We do not want the fate of our dogs left in the hands of ill-intention breeders.

This is an opportunity to meet our current Sundown and Rocky Road Groodles ready for their new homes, chat with us about our program, and spend time with our beautiful dogs.

Our little black Groodles from our Sundown (standard size) and also from our Rocky Road (medium size) often get overlooked next to their siblings of red, golds and merles — yet they have some of the best personalities and soft, low shed fleece coats ✨🖤🐾

Calm, affectionate, people-focused — these pups truly embody the gentle family suitable Groodle nature we love so much. Their glossy black coats might not be rare in colour, but their hearts absolutely are. 🐾

Raised right here in our family home with all the love, expertise and structure of our program, they’re just as special as any shade in the rainbow of Groodle coats. 🌈

Sometimes, the most beautiful puppies simply shine a little quieter — and we think that makes them even more extraordinary 🖤

Meet our final Rocky Road Groodles 🍫✨
Their signature non-diluting coats range from soft wavy to curly fleece — all ultra-low-shed and luxuriously fluffy. 🌟

They have been raised with care and structure through our BAB program, creating confident, people-focused companions with foundational toilet and crate training! They are now in the final stages of our program where they take themselves outside via a doggy door to toilet outside when they need to, and they sleep in their crates overnight all the way through the night! 👏

Our Rocky Road Groodles will mature to a predictable medium sizing (18-24 kg) and have the awesome gentle, calm, intelligent natures we love 🐾🥰

Our Sundown Groodle litter are now 8 weeks old and have completed their Badass Breeder (BAB) personality evaluations — a structured assessment we conduct here that provides data-driven insights into each puppy’s temperament and behavioural tendencies. 🌟👏

Results showed consistency across the siblings, with strong motivation and trainability, high human focus, confident temperaments, and excellent nerve resilience. Their calm, people-oriented nature makes them well-suited for family companionship or therapy roles 🐾

We believe these early insights empower families to understand and support their puppies from day one — setting each puppy up for lifelong success! 🐾💛
